"Mother's love is peace. It need not be acquired, it need not be
deserved." -- Erich Fromm

==============================================================

Hello!

We've finally had some warm weather down here in Florida after some cool
temps last week.  Today is our last day here, so we hope to get a lot of
"pool time" before heading back to ice and snow at home in Minnesota.

Next Tuesday I'll be on the KARE 11 Today show again, this time presenting
ideas on saving money on baby items.  I'm asking for your help for some
unique ideas -- ones that will make the viewers say, "Gee, I had never
thought of that!"  Click here to see the ideas we've collected
from readers in the past:  http://mommysavers.com/moneysavingideas/baby.htm

Money/Time Saving Ideas:

Cleaners
The best and least expensive all-purpose cleaner I've ever used is a wash
bucket filled half-way with hot water, with a splash of ammonia and a good
squeeze of Dawn dishsoap.  It works on everything.  Mirrors are streak free
when wiped with a dry towel right away, and counters and floors shine! --
Amber of West Salem, WI

Snack Time
A great snack for those who can eat peanut butter is to put the peanut
butter inside a cake ice cream cone and let them have at it.  My 2 year old
loves it that way, and I don't have a big mess to clean up! -- Siobhan
Jackson, 32, from MO

Thrift Store Shopping
Our local Goodwill Shop offers SUPER SAVINGS on Tuesday thru Thursday when
they have their $.99 Tag Sale.  The tag color(s) on sale vary from week to
week so you really have to visit weekly (which is better than the mall to
me!) For example, just this week I purchased a North Carolina Starter winter
jacket for you guessed it....$.99!!!!!  **HINT:  THESE CLOTHES ARE WONDERFUL
FOR SELLING ON EBAY ALSO!!**
I sold four long sleeve t-shirts that I paid $1.75 a piece for at Goodwill
for a grand total of $35.00 on Ebay!  -- Michelle, 37, from OH
