Money Saving Ideas

Haircare for Less TJ Maxx has started selling Sebastian products at a steep discount. I get a good shampoo and conditioner and rotate it every other day with a less expensive drug store shampoo and conditioner. Seems to work just fine.  -- Member ehbmommy

Grocery Store Savings  If you are only running in to grab a few items don't automatically grab the cart. You will be less likely to pick up items that aren't on your list if you have to carry them all.

Freezing Fruit Freeze fruit before it goes bad. I always slice bananas, apples, etc. and freeze them before they have a chance to go bad. Later I can use them as ingredients in breads, pies or smoothies or as a snack! For instance, if DD only eats half a banana, freeze the rest in a resealable bag. That way I can add to it later. -- Member AyeOhKay

October Recipe of the Month Just in time for football and cold weather, our recipe of the month is... chili!  See how other Mommysavers moms make their version of this hearty classic.

Tater Tot Casserole

1/2 pound ground beef
1 (10.75oz) can cream of mushroom soup
using soup can use 1 can milk
1 tsp garlic salt
1 (14.5oz) can French style green beans
