Frugal Family Fun
I saved the "heels" of the loaves
of bread we've been using over the past few weeks, stored them in the
freezer and then took the boys down to the pond today to feed the ducks.
They loved it! -- Member doozer
Meal Planning
We are TIGHT on money this week, so my husband asked me to make up menus
and try to plan out the next two weeks. It took less time than I thought. We
bought extra chicken breast because of a sale, but we saved about $100 not
buying things I thought I needed and just buying things I actually needed.
Wow, what a difference that makes. Plus I bought things that I have never
bought before, like fresh fish and turkey breast. -- Member faerieflr
Save on Printer Ink
If you set your printer properties to "draft", your printer will use a lot
less ink. With a lot of printers, you can't even see a significant
difference. We do a lot of printing by homeschooling, so we've saved a lot
of money doing this. -- Member AyeOhKay
