Once
a Week Cooking
Take an afternoon once a week to get the
prep work done for several meals. For example, this recipe posted by
araefinn and Mommy2mercedes will make the meat for several recipes
throughout the week.
Plus, since it's done in the crock pot you'll be saving time and not using
the oven to heat up your kitchen.

Stock up on School Supplies
Even if your kids aren't heading back to school
for another month or longer, now is the time to stock up. Plus, think
outside of the box when scooping up good deals. Crayons and markers
make great stocking and Easter basket stuffers. They also work well
for birthday gifts when combined with coloring books and other crafty
things. Notebooks aren't just for students. They work well for
helping moms stay organized. Glue sticks are great for scrapbookers.

Frugal
Summer Fun: Ice Cream in a Bag
This is SOOO easy... and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put:
1/2 C. half
and half (milk works too)
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt.
Shake the bag for five minutes - kids love that part! Then, remove the
smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream.
