Mr. Clean Magic Eraser got it off the desk and computer with a bit of elbow grease. I just had to let you all know so when your budding artist gives it a try, you can be ready! -- Halle, 32, from MN Decorating While shopping at Sears, I was told all Sears stores are "shutting down" their paint departments. You might want to continue to look for clearance items on paint, brushes, etc. I was told they would all close within the next 3-6 months. -- Sid, 42, from NC Birthdays I got this tip from a lady at the bulk grocery store. She was buying a very large pinata. When I commented on how much candy it would take to fill it, she said, "I fill it with half candy and half cheerios. Otherwise it would weigh 200 pounds. Plus, after the kids pick out all the candy, the birds and squirrels can eat the cereal, and there are no plastic sparkles to pollute the ground." -- Caroline, 39, from CA We need YOUR tips for our newsletter! All I had to buy was a hat ($3). He wore jeans, a white shirt, and bandana that we already had. This year he will be a Train Engineer. The overalls came from a consignment shop for $2 and the hat was only $2. The best thing is how no one else is dressed like him! -- Allison, 27, from KY ----------------------------- Real Moms: Organization Use the clear plastic shoe organizers that hang on the backs of doors for nick-nacks. Making lists keeps me motivated. Getting rid of everything you haven't used in a year. -- Pam, 31, from GA Figure out a way to help your child have his or her toys out on shelves or in bins so that he or she can see and play with them. If you just have one big toy box, most children will not make it to the bottom of the box while playing, especially if they are young. Thus, many of their toys do not get played with. It makes a difference in our home in how it feels that he has so many toys if he is at least playing with them. -- Suzanne, 35, from TX These great hints came from our Real Mom Profiles.
