CBS is looking for interesting topics and stories that will illustrate issues that come up between neighbors. Anything from noise, pets, illegal construction, building monstracities, noise, bizarre habits (like feeding or shooting at rodents) long-standing fueds, corporate or industrial neighbors, or somethng new and weird that we haven't even thought of yet. I will forward the responses to the CBS producer. Please send your stories as soon as possible. WOMENS WALL STREET I'm writing a story about what it really costs to stay home with the kids. I'm looking for moms who quit jobs to stay home -- and have thought through the financial implications -- and moms who are working outside the home primarily because of the money. You have to be willing to tell me what you were/are earning, and where expenses have changed with your decision, i.e. childcare, meals out, dry cleaning, transportation, time to bargain hunt..... whatever. I'd love to find moms who are staying home with the kids but have found a way to earn enough money so they're saving for retirement. In other words, if you're earning money on the side caring for others' children, doing graphic design at night, or selling stuff on eBay and are putting that into a retirement fund, I want to talk with you.
