Save empty baby food jars and use them as an expensive alternative for adding soft lighting to a porch or deck in the evening. I found out I can microwave any pasta the same way we were making EasyMac. I just put water and the pasta in a bowl (one or two servings) and cook in the microwave for 3-5 minutes. I experimented until I found the right amount of time. I just drain it and serve it in the same bowl after adding butter and salt. Make your baby's handprint in clay at home for a fraction of the cost of a prepacked kit. Mix 1 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1 teaspoon salt, and 3/4 cup water. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then lower heat and stir until thick. Spread mixture in a mold like a whipped topping container or margarine lid.
