Money/Time Saving Ideas:

When I hang the clothes in my kids closet, I put an entire outfit on one
hanger (pants, shirt, sweater, etc.).  My kids know that when they have to
look matching they can just grab a hanger for whatever outfit they want.  It
saves space in drawers (which we have few of), saves time looking for
matching parts, and my husband also knows that he doesn't have to wonder
what shirt goes with which skirt for my daughter.  -- Kerry from MN

My mom would always make this recipe for us kids and we loved it:
1 pound of ground beef browned and drained.  Then, she would add 2 cans
of Bush's baked beans. Simmer for about 10 minutes. It is delicious and
so cheap. You'll enjoy it with a salad and bread. -- Laura, 20, from TN

Cereal Boxes for Magazine Storage
Most cereal boxes can be converted into boxes to store magazines. Just
remove the top flaps and cut the upper third of the box off at a diagonal
angle. You can put contact paper on the outside of the box to make the box
look better.

Removing a Bumper Sticker
To remove a bumper sticker from a metal bumper, dampen the sticker with
vinegar, lighter fluid, or nail polish remover. Then scrape the sticker off
with a razor blade.

1000 Best Baby Bargains:  Recording Memories

#902.  Purchase a scrapbook instead of a baby book.  A scrapbook is usually
about half the price, and it can be customized for your child.  Include
photos, baby's firsts, and journaling about your child.

#927.  Your photos will look best with natural lighting.  Position your
subject in natural daylight if at all possible.  When shooting outdoors, use
filtered light as opposed to harsh, bright sunlight that casts blotchy
shadows and makes your baby squint.

What's Cookin':  Easy Taco Dip

1 block of cream cheese
1 small container of sour cream
1 package of taco seasoning
Salsa
Cheddar Cheese

Blend cream cheese and sour cream together in a small tray or pie plate.
Blend in taco seasoning to your taste. The whole package may be way too
spicy.
Refrigerate for 8 hours to let flavors meld through. Before serving, add
salsa, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Serve with taco chips.
