It has worked on everything from formula, carrots, spinach, and grass, to dirty diaper leaks. I simply wet the area thoroughly and squirt on some Dawn. I rub it in and work it in the fibers with my fingernail. I put it in a bowl of cold water and soak it for 24-48 hours. If there is still discoloration, I simply repeat the steps. Once the stain is gone, I wash as normal in the washer. I even do this if I'm taking things out of the washer and notice a stain that I didn't see when I put it in or I hoped would come out in the wash but didn't. It is better than anything else I have tried. And inexpensive, too! -- Jeanette, 37, from MO Homemade Massage Oil Make your own massage oil for a fraction of the cost! Grapeseed oil (found in health food stores and online) is a wonderful oil used for massage by massage therapists. When making mine, I simply use 1 cup grapeseed oil, 1/2 cup olive oil and about 50 drops (or more to suit your scent style) of scent oil. If using an actual essential oil, use less as essential oils are much stronger. (Using eucalyptus oil in the winter is a great pick-me-up on those days when colds hit!!!) Pour into a spray bottle (even old washed hairspray spritz bottles are great) for controlled application. -- Martha - Age 30 - Alvaton, KY Fun for Kids To make bath time more fun I bought all kinds of ice cube trays with all kinds of shapes such as trees, circles, bears, etc.. With these trays I would freeze colored water in them and at bath time instead of putting food coloring in the bath tub I put these ice cubes in it to slowly turn the water colors. It was fun to see what color the water would be when they all melted, and because she would never want to get out the rule was when the ice cubes were all melted and revealed the magic color it was time to get out. -- Sheila, 30, from Indiana We need YOUR tips for our newsletter!
