Money/Time Saving Ideas:

Couponing
My tips are for GROCERY SHOPPING.  First, I subscribe to THREE Sunday
newspapers---that's right--THREE of them.  This triples my Sunday coupons.
The cost for the extra papers is nothing compared to the extra savings.
Just recently, I had 3 coupons for three FREE Pledge "Grab its" Mopping
Systems....three of them!  One is for me and two are now Christmas gifts!
Secondly, I type my grocery list and save it on my computer.  It is now 18
pages long!  Don't panic....I type each category alphabetically such as
"Aluminum Foil", "Bread", "Cosmetics", "Dishwashing Liquid", etc.....Then
beside of each "topic" I list all coupons relating to that item.  Then as
they expire, I delete them and add new ones.  Yes, it takes time, but
honestly, it is worth it.  I shop every two weeks and for the last 5 years
or so, I've saved between $80 and $200 each time I shop!  That makes the
"work" worth the effort!  -- Sharon, 37, from VA

Child Care
Trade shopping days with a neighbor or friend.  You baby sit for her kids so
she can do "KID-FREE" shopping, and then she does the same for you.  You
will get your shopping done in half the time, and get to do some things you
just cant do with the kids along (like trying on bathing suits in a tiny
dressing room)! -- Paula, 35, from MI

Cooking
Instead of buying expensive ground beef - I buy cheaper frozen ground turkey
and when I use it for spagetti sauce or chili, etc...I brown it just like
ground beef and then add a couple of beef bullion cubes to the sauce and it
really taste great - no one even notices the difference (except my husband
doesn't get the heartburn he always gets when real beef is used!!) -- Anne,
41, from NJ

What Will You Do?  By Wendy Lomano
Our youngest son enters first grade this fall.  Our older son will be in
third grade.  And I'm an at-home mother.
"What are you going to do with yourself, since both boys will be in school
full time?" is a question I've heard quite frequently in the past few
months.  "Are you going to go back to work now?" others have asked.

What's Cookin':  Goulash

(I grew up on this recipe and I now serve it to my own family. I double the
recipe and freeze a pot for a quick meal that only needs defrosted and
reheated)

1 pound ground beef
3 cans Campbells Cream Of Mushroom Soup
3 cans Diced Tomatoes (do not drain the juice)
1 box Shell Noodles

1) Brown Ground Beef and Drain.
2) In a large pot of boiling water add shell noodles and cook till done and
drain.
3) In that same large pot add the soup and tomatoes with juice. Heat to
boiling. Add ground beef and shell noodles and stir.

I serve Cheese Garlic Bread or plain Garlic Bread with the Goulash. --
Terrea, 36, from Ohio

Fun for You and Your Kids: Personal Puzzle

You'll Need:
Old magazines, catalogs, or greeting cards
Photograph of your child (optional)
Cardboard
Glue
Scissors

Cut out pictures from magazines, catalogs, or greeting cards, or use an
enlarged photo of your child.  Glue the picture onto a piece of cardboard
that has been cut to the same size.  When dry, let your child cut the
picture into pieces to create her own puzzle.  Puzzles are great for helping
your child recognize shapes - a prerequisite to learning letters and
numbers.
