Green Tea
Chinese Green Tea it is very frugal, and since it acts as detox
it is healthy too.  After you make your first brew, pour boiling water
on the tea bag again and allow the water to cool. Use this water to water
and feed your houseplants.  I've been doing this as an experiment for the
past two weeks and it works! -- Username Annemc

Portrait Studios
I need to renew my Smile Savers at Sears since it has expired.
I have used JC Penney for their Christmas pictures because so much
cheaper by the sheet for 3.99 vs. Sears 7.99. I am happy with both
of them, though I can only choose one. What do you think?

Cheaper Organic Foods
I have always eaten very healthy until i had my daughter! It gets
so difficult to eat healthy and buy organic/healthfood without breaking
the bank! We have started buying offbrand and lunch meat to save some
money after our big move. Does anyone have good ideas for going to the
grocery store and spending under 100 dollars in healthy food?

What Do You Do All Day Long?
A few months ago I had someone (a guy, married but no children) ask me
'what I did at home all day long'. He didn't ask it in a nasty tone, he
seemed genuinely interested at how I could fill a whole day with 'just'
staying home with a child. I was at a loss and started explaining everything
I do for our family, but then thought 'why am I explaining to HIM?'
I need a good response, but not nasty, more matter of fact,
how-can-you-even-ask-me-this question response.

What's Cooking: Quick, Easy -N- Fast Recipes Chili Cheese Ball

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) block sharp cheddar, shredded
2 T. milk (optional, for softer spread)
2 or 3 minced garlic cloves
1 package chili seasoning
1 C. chopped English walnuts

In food processor or with mixer, blend softened cream cheese,
shredded cheddar, milk and garlic until creamy smooth. Chill for at
least 1/2 hour so cheese mixture will be easier to handle.
Tear off 2 pieces of wax paper, each about a foot long. Sprinkle the
package of chili mix seasoning on one and the chopped nuts on the other.
Form the cheese into ball shape with your hands, then roll in chili
seasoning, covering completely. Then roll in nuts.

Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until about an hour
before serving. Serve with your favorite snack crackers.

Creative Kidstuff:  Rainbow Bread

This homemade bread has food coloring in it so they have REAL rainbow
bread. After seperating batches and making different colors of dough
you can braid them together or simply layer the dough, etc. so that when
baked they are super colorful. Use your imagination. Not to mention
homemade bread is MUCH cheaper than store bought and your kids just might
think it "tastes" better.  -- Username Melissae
