Sprinkle on the carpet, wait a few minutes and vacuum up. It's supposed to help with odors. I put a box of the baking soda in an old Parmesan cheese container so it is easy to sprinkle. It's really cheap too! -- Username Loohoo Recycling Clothes Keep your childrens' old baseball shirts, jerseys, school shirts, etc. and when you have enough, make a blanket out of them. It will be something to look back on and remember when. I hope to do this for my kids, although they just started sports. -- Username Roll Tide Mommy Check out our Frugal Living Forums: http://www.mommysavers.com/discussion/index.php?showforum=20 ------------------------------ HOT Deals: Snapfish Codes If you have a digital camera, chances are you have some photos you still need to make prints of. Save them for the winter when you need to wear two pairs. Marking Seed Rows Use paper seed packages as markers for rows of seeds. I get $200 for personal spending over 2 weeks. That covers my gas, meals during the week, little extras, but for some reason I'm usually pushing it at the end of the 2 weeks. I cannot make my money last and I cannot stop buying crap I don't need. I don't know what to do. I tell myself I will stop spending and start saving and the next thing I know, I'm in a store buying something or on-line ordering something. I have tried selling clothes here and on eBay and have made nothing. Any advice would be great. Please feel free to be harsh and honest. To view what others are saying, and leave advice of your own: http://www.mommysavers.com/discussion/index.php?showtopic=31404 ------------------------------ What's Cooking: Crock Pot Ribs Season the ribs with LAWRY'S salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cut the slab into sections of about 3 ribs each, then toss it in the crockpot. Cook on high for about an hour, then switch it to low and cook it all day. About 30 mins before it's time to eat, I take the ribs out of the crock, and I put them on a baking sheet (foil lined!) and brush them with BBQ sauce. Put them in a hot oven, 400. Bake for about 7 mins on each side. To crisp the sauce. Had these for the first time this week - DELISH! -- Username KatherinG Check out all the recipes in our recipe archive: http://www.mommysavers.com/discussion/index.php?act=SC&c=3 ------------------------------ Limited Time Only: Mommysavers Gear Tees, sweats, onesies, mugs, and much more...
