Beautiful notes from you:)

Indian Prayer

O' GREAT SPIRIT
help me always
to speak the truth quietly,
to listen with an open mind
when others speak,
and to remember the peace
that may be found in silence.

The Echo of Life

A man and his son were walking in the forest.
Suddenly the boy trips and feeling a sharp pain
he screams, "Ahhhh!"

Surprised, he hears a voice coming from the
mountain, "Ahhhh!"

Filled with curiosity, he screams, 'Who are
you?" but the only answer he receives is "Who
are you?"

This makes him angry so he screams, "You are
a coward." And the voice answers, "You are a
coward."

He looks at his father, asking, "Dad what is going
on?"

"Son" the man replies, "pay attention!" Then he
screams, "I admire you!"

The voice answers, "I admire you."

The father shouts, "You are wonderful." And the
voice answers, "You are wonderful."

The boy is surprised, but still can't understand
what is going on.

The father explains, "People call this 'ECHO'
but truly this is 'LIFE!' Life always gives you
back what you give out! Life is a mirror of
Your actions. If you want more love give more
love! If you want more kindness, give more
kindness! If you want understanding and respect,
give understanding and respect! If you want
people to be patient and respectful to you, give
patience and respect. This law of nature applies
to every aspect of our lives.

Life always gives you back what you give out.
Your life is not a coincidence, but a mirror of
your own doings.

Thank you Louise H:)

Dear Friend,

As you got up this morning, I watched you, and hoped you would talk to me, even if it was just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for something good that happened in your life yesterday. But I noticed you were too busy, trying to find the right outfit to wear. When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew there would be a few minutes for you to stop and say hello, but you were to busy. At one point you had to wait fifteen minutes with nothing to do except sit in a chair. Then I saw you spring to your feet. I thought you wanted to talk to me but you ran to the phone and called a friend to get the latest gossip instead. I watched patiently all day long. With all your activities I guess you were too busy to say anything to me.

I noticed that before lunch you looked around, maybe you felt embarrassed to talk to me, that is why you didn't bow your head. You glanced three or four tables over and you noticed some of your friends talking to me briefly before they ate, but you didn't. That's okay. There is still more time left, and I hope that you will talk to me yet.

You went home and it seems as if you had lots of things to do. After a few of them were done, you turned on the TV. I don't know if you like TV or not, just about anything goes there and you spend a lot of time each day in front of it not thinking about anything, just enjoying the show. I waited patiently again as you watched the TV and ate your meal, but again you didn't talk to me.

Bedtime I guess you felt too tired. After you said goodnight to your family you plopped into bed and fell asleep in no time. That's okay because you may not realize that I am always there for you. I've got patience, more than you will ever know.... I even want to teach you how to be patient with others as well.

I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer or thought, or a thankful part of your heart. It is hard to have a one-sided conversation.

Well, you are getting up once again. Once again I will wait, with nothing but love for you. Hoping that today you will give me some time. Have a nice day!

Your friend,
GOD

Thank you to God for really being this way for us:)

hopeful--for all of us. And it is for us to find at last that in the midst of winter we have within us an invincible summer. In a world filled with
adversity we can reach for joy."

To all of you from me:)

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.
"I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?"

"That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them."

"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

SO, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Thank you Cindy D:)

Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!
