He had been flown to a Neuro Critical ICU in Columbus. They are still not sure what is wrong other than a real bad infection they found. He is still on a ventilator & still sedated. They have kept him sedated for testing & will try to him up on Thursday or Friday. For those who don't know...Kyle is my son-in-law, a great guy. We are praying he comes through this. Aloha from Hawaii My great-grandmother on my mother's side was Cherokee and I am very proud to have that as part of my heritage. My grandmother would make this recipe with the fresh blackberries we would pick. How I miss those fantastic scratch made meals back then. Robert H. Cherokee Huckleberry Bread 2 c Self-rising flour 1 c Milk 1 Egg 1 ts Vanilla extract 1 c Sugar 2 c Berries huckleberries or blueberries or your favorite 1 Stick of butter Cream eggs, butter and sugar together. Add flour, milk, and vanilla. Sprinkle flour on berries to prevent them from going to the bottom. Add berries to mixture. Put in baking pan and bake in over at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or until done.
