My husband's father passed this morning at 11 a.m. CST. We have been his primary care givers for the past 6 months. Our almost 20 yr. old son moved in with my in laws about 3 weeks ago, so he could help my mother-in-law out at night with Pops and also to be there with my mother in law after he passed away. We are all heart broken of course, but I know Pops is in a better place, he can breath once again properly and the pain of emphysema is no longer with him. God Bless you, Kay and her family.
