Here ya go...a favourite Christmas recipe:) Great Stew! Ingredients: 1 pound uncooked ground turkey(You can also use diced leftover from Holiday, but dont saute' it) 1 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots 2-1/2 cups tomato juice 1 14-1/2-ounce can French-cut green beans, drained 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced 1/4-in. thick 1/2 cup chopped tomato 1 tablespoon dried minced onion 1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 bay leaf Directions: 1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey, celery, and carrots until turkey is done; drain. Add to a crockpot. Stir in tomato juice, green beans, mushrooms, tomato, dried minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, garlic powder, sugar, pepper, and bay leaf. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf. 2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf. Makes 4 to 6 servings. In large bowl cream sugars and shortening with electric mixer. 2. Add eggs and mix well. 3. Add molasses and mix well. 4. Place dry ingredients and spices in a separate large bowl and blend with a whisk. 5. Add creamed ingredients to dry ingredients and mix with whisk and spoon. 6. Place 1 cup batter each in 6 well-greased 1-pint wide-mouth canning jars. Wipe batter from rim. 7. Place jars on a baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 5. Wipe rims. Place hot sterilized seals and rings on hot jars.
