People have received GC's to get a Christmas dinner, who may otherwise not have anything for Christmas Day. Isn't that what it's all about? Sharing what we have with others? If we share in a dinner, a gift, a prayer, a kind word to someone...we have done what He wanted. Those who received help were very grateful, most were in tears with the news, the GC's, the gifts. Know that you have done good in the world at Christmastime. It still is not too late. Do something kind for someone today...take a meal, make a call, say a prayer. "When ye have done it unto the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me". The "least"...those who are in need, not those who have plenty...give those who have plenty a kind word & a prayer, give the dinner, clothing, other needful things...to someone who really needs them. This poem was written by a 13 year old boy who died of a brain tumor that he had battled four years. He died on December 14, 1997. He gave this to his mom before he died. His name was Ben. Thank you Renie:) This one is so appreciated in our family this year, as we remember both Rob & Kyle...knowing they are hanging out together & praying for each of us, is a very comforting, loving feeling.
