You are invited to hear from four industry professionals talk about the various aspects of the post-production process.

Drawing on their vast experiences, our industry professionals will discuss new pathways, the funding process for post-production, common mistakes, neglected issues and misconceptions as well as provide insight and hints on this critical period of production.

The FFC is the Australian Government’s principal agency for funding the production of film and television in Australia.

P O P C O R N T A X I – SCREENING + Q&A
Suburban Mayhem
Popcorn Taxi presents an advance preview screening and Q&A session for PAUL GOLDMAN's supercharged new black comedy SUBURBAN MAYHEM.

The story centres around the life of Katrina Skinner (EMILY BARCLAY), a 19-year-old single mum who lives in a world of petty crime, fast cars, manicures and sex. When her father threatens to contact social services to take away her child, Katrina, master-manipulator of men, sets in motion a plan to wreak suburban mayhem that will leave a community in shock and make the starry centre of a media frenzy…

Combining menace, pitch black comedy and devastating performances with a wildly imaginative film style, SUBURBAN MAYHEM moves at a cracking pace, using a lacerating wit to satirise a culture of media manipulation and instant celebrity.

After the screening Director PAUL GOLDMAN and Screenwriter ALICE BELL will join guest interviewer MARGARET POMERANZ for what promises to be a stimulating discussion about the film and its themes.

Be quick as seats will fill up fast!
