CASTING CALL
TV Pilot
We’re shooting the pilot for a new Australian comedy series, based around a group of young, up-and coming rock'n'rollers living in Sydne's inner-west. Forget Rockstar, forget Idol, this is a look at what it really takes to make it as a working musician – the politics and poverty, the schmoozing and boozing, the fragile partnerships and ill-judged love affairs.

Please note, the pilot is currently unfunded, so there will be no payment for acting roles.

We're casting several roles, all within the 18–30 yr old age bracket. Musical ability would help, but it's not essential. For more information, please email: susiejonesxx@yahoo.com.au

SOUND EDITOR NEEDED – VOLUNTEER
I need some help from a volunteer with Sound Mixing on my Final Cut Express HD to complete a training documentary. It is a 2 hours special documentary I created for Home Hospice Inc. whilst touring South Africa, to teach African people how to care for dying AIDS sufferers in remote rural villages. The Home Hospice team of three and I all went as volunteers to do this project.

I had a problem with mixing the sound tracks trying to make it better because some of the scenes are affected by noises in the background. They need to be eliminated (i.e. rain on the tin roof and noisy fans in the background while people are talking in the foreground) and to boost the "talking" in the foreground.

Home Hospice Inc. originated in Australia 26 years ago. It is a non-profit registered charity helping carers, family and the community care for their terminally ill loved one at home.

I hope you'll be interest to help with this project. Please contact
