PRODUCER REQUIRED
Fully Funded Short
An award-winning crew has a fully funded short film ready for the right
producer. Due to unforeseen circumstances the original producer had to step
back, though is still committed to supporting the project. This has left
an opening for an experienced short film producer to join the team and manage
a substantial production and marketing budget.
The story is set in the Royal National Park, and we already have firm support
in writing from the local council and community for an eight day location
shoot. We are looking to film in March, with pre production in February.
It is imperative that the producer takes on a creative role, and is able
to contribute comments on the final drafts of the script and the creative
vision for the film.
Producing experience is absolutely essential, preferably with short films,

PAIRS OF PEARS
Cast and Crew Required
I am making a short movie for Tropfest. It is going to be shot in a lift
with a step ladder. It is called ‘Pairs of Pears’ and it is
about building a peacful planet. There is no money in this little festival
entry but a more expansive version will be made later in 2008 for the Human
Rights Arts and Film Festival. Later still in 2008 we will head off to AFC
and get funding to make the feature-length version.
There are still a number of cast and crew roles to be filled. If you are
interested and would like more information or to see a copy of the script
please contact Howard Bell on howard.bell@workcover.nsw.gov.au
