METRO SCREEN PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES Metro Screen??™s new members service Project Development Services provide assessments of your scripts or treatments of any length. Choose between a script editor or producer for a one-hour face-to-face meeting about your next project. This is an excellent opportunity for filmmakers and screen practitioners to be given sound advice on what does and doesn??™t work. Gain tips, insider knowledge and give your next project the best chance of achieving success whether it??™s a short, documentary or a feature film. Advice is always worthwhile especially when it comes from those who are working successfully in the film and screen industries. We have a selection of high profile successful industry practitioners for you to choose from. Including: Simon Bennetts. Simon was script assessor for the NSW FTO and Beyond International in Sydney. He has a BA (Honours) in Drama from Flinders University, majoring in Scriptwriting and also teaches at the Writer's Studio, Macquarie University and Metro Screen. Simon is currently in draft on the screenplay Heat Merchants and his award winning short films have been broadcast on the ABC. Kath Shelper. Kath has produced two half-hour films which both premiered at Sundance. One of these films Green Bush won Best Short Film, at the Berlin Film Festival Panorama. Her previous shorts have screened at festivals worldwide and won numerous awards including the AFI Award for Best Short Fiction for Confessions of a Headhunter. Kath received the IF Award for Rising Talent in 2005, where Green Bush was also awarded Best Short Film. Kath??™s production company is Film Depot. Once you have submitted your script, synopsis and/or treatment our qualified industry professionals will assess your material. This is followed by your own one-hour face-to-face meeting. Channel Free have been offering youth video access through workshops and special projects for 15 years. SEEKING 14-YEAR OLD FEMALE KIWI VOICE Embryo Films is in post-production on an educational DVD for schools and urgently requires the VOICE of a 14-year-old FEMALE with a NEW ZEALAND accent, to replace the voice of an onscreen character. We cannot use an adult actress, and we cannot use an Australian performing the Kiwi accent. Must be authentic and near to the age required, to ensure credibility. This job is unpaid, but you will receive a credit and copy, and possible deferred pay. No experience is required, but a good speaking voice is preferred. Organised by the Hiroshima Day Committee, it will be an annual event held just before Hiroshima Day each year. The venue for the Inaugural SydneyPeaceFest is the Tap Gallery, 278 Palmer Street, Darlinghurst, Sydney. The topic of the Festival is ???Peace??? in whatever way you wish to interpret it.
