| The City of Oulu, Finland, is using Strix Systems’ Access/One 2400 Outdoor Wireless System (OWS) to build its first city-wide wireless mesh network. Strix mesh technology will provide faster connection speeds and extended coverage beyond the coverage offered by the old WiFi network. The Strix mesh network delivers high-speed broadband mobility and high-quality voice, video, data access to the general public. The wireless network, called panOULU, provides open and free wireless (WiFi) Internet access to the general public and an established business plan for panOULU subscriptions enabling organizations to provide its own open panOULU visitor network to customers and guests in its premises. |

| The two new smartphones, the iGO730 and the LinAP, have been designed by Italian manufacturer Enteos, a specialist in the development of advanced mobile handsets. Enteos, a supplier of handsets to OEMs and to network operators such as Italian market leader TIM, expects the products to attract business customers who require mobile broadband, e-mail and office productivity applications.
Enteos’ products typically incorporate features or functionality that manufacturers of mainstream handsets have not yet widely adopted. The new phones combine 3G, Wi-Fi and VoIP capability. |

Xtract, the customer analytics expert, announced that € 2 million in growth capital
funding has been secured in a first round of funding from one of the largest technologyfocused
funds in Northern Europe, Eqvitec Technology Fund III. A second round of
growth funding is expected to be raised later in 2007.
Xtract is specialised in automated customer analytics solutions, enabling the analysis
