Continental will begin non-stop flights on December 17, 2005 from Newark. American will begin flights from Dallas/Fort Worth on February 4th, 2006.

There are currently 42 non-stop flights from North America to Liberia every week, including eight chartered flights. Saturday is the busiest day with nine arrivals. Aviation officials expect 310,000 passengers will come through the Liberia airport this year. An increase of 60% over last year.
