Butterfly Kisses-One Stroke News January 2008 Hello One Strokers:
Just a reminder that I am starting up my classes again at Michaels in Ocoee (Wed., Jan. 11th and Jan. 16th) and at the Art Center in Minneola starting January 30th. There will be a beginners class in Sunflowers at Michaels on Wed, Jan. 11th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Cost of this class is $20 plus supplies. You can paint on any surface you choose - even a sketch book. At the Art Center, we will be exploring different decorative art styles, starting with Pen & Ink with oil rouging. (A lot of my students have taken these classes with me and absolutely love them. It's easy and looks like it's very hard to do!) This class will be at the Art Center on Wednesdays from 4:30 - 6:30. Then, from 6:30 - 8:30, you can sign up to paint with Acrylics. I'll be teaching landscapes and wildlife and anything that you think you want to paint. This will be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it. I hope you are, too. There is a brand new calendar of classes online at the site of my new NewsGroup.
The calendar lists classes at the following locations: Lake County Art Center in Minneola (Decorative Painting AND **NEW**Acrylics) Michaels in Ocoee (One Stroke Decorative Painting) Kings Ridge Community Center in Clermont (Decorative Painting/Home Decor)

Effective immediately, the group is open to receive you as a member. All you need to do is click on the button at the bottom of this page and you will become a member. You can choose to receive postings from the group individually or in a daily digest, which will batch the messages. If you haven't already joined, PLEASE join the group if you wish to continue receiving news and information about Butterfly Kisses Studio classes, festivals, face painting, etc. You won't have to wait until a monthly newsletter is sent out anymore. The news will be up to date. And, best of all, we can all share information now. You will be able to post your own pictures of your art or ask questions about classes or painting methods. Remember, if you have a questions, others probably have the same questions, so the answer will be shared with everyone in the group. There are already a couple of questions and a discussion about a new paper crafting idea called Iris Folding. Check out the discussion.
