Hello One Strokers:

I am finally exhibiting some paintings.  The South Lake Art League is hosting a Members Art Show in March, and I have 3 pictures to be exhibited in the show.  My Flamingo, Peppermint Amaryllis, and Sir Angus.  You can see these three paintings in the Acrylic Paintings albums on my Picturetrail site.  You are all invited to an Artist's Reception on Friday, March 14th from 5 - 7 pm at the Art Gallery, 776 Montrose Street, downtown Clermont, FL.  The gallery will also be open to the public from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday  March 18 - 20 and March 25 - 27.   Do stop in at the Artist's Reception this Friday or drop in during the week to view the paintings.   

I am no longer teaching at Michaels in Ocoee.  Michaels has done away with all of its classes and will be doing demos and kids clubs only. 

However, we will be exploring different decorative art styles, starting with Pen & Ink with oil rouging, at the Kings Ridge Community Center one Sunday afternoon a month from 2 - 4:30.   (A lot of my students have taken these classes with me and absolutely love them.  It's easy and looks like it's very hard to do!)  Do let me know if you want to attend.  We are allowed to invite "guests" to our community.

The Acrylics classes on Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Art Center, 202 S. Hwy. 27, Minneola are going very well.   I'm teaching landscapes, seascapes, lighthouses, florals, birds and wildlife and anything that you think you want to paint.  This is a lot of fun.  

Starting May 8th, I will add a Thursday morning Acrylics class from 12 noon to 2:00 pm.  This is by request from people who do not like driving at night.  Hope to see some of you there. 

We are also working on One Stroke classes for kids over the summer.  More news to follow on these classes.
