God's royal son, or he will become angry, and you will
be destroyed in the midst of your pursuits??”for his

If only the government leaders of the world would
read and heed these words! It is impossible to predict
the impact it would have on the world economy, on our
health, and most importantly, on the spiritual well
being of the citizens of planet earth. The warning from
the Lord is clear and direct. Those who follow God??™s
way in their leadership role will find both joy and
protection, but those who refuse to submit to Jesus
Christ will be the recipients of His anger.
Unfortunately, most of us would have trouble
listing a dozen government leaders that we believed to
be godly men and women. But praise God for the ones that
we can name! They are functioning as ministers of the
Lord as they perform their civil duties under His
direction. They deserve our prayers, our admiration, our
loyalty, and our vote. They also need to hear words of
encouragement from their brothers and sisters in Jesus
Christ.

Have you ever considered running for office? If so, how
could you make sure you followed God??™s direction
instead of giving into political pressure?

Do you consider whether a person is dedicated to God??™s
rule in their lives before you vote for them?
