Dear Faithful Readers,
It's been 18 months since Webmaster & I retired RebeccasReads.com & let it languish inertly on the web where it continues to be clicked on by a surprising number of visitors. As we were closing it down, Irene Watson was starting up her own ReaderViews.com site & invited me to participate. Exhausted, I declined, wanting only to focus on our own writing, our health & welfare. It got serious enough that my Beloved Webmaster underwent multiple by-pass surgery two Thanksgivings ago.
Things have come full circle & now I'd like to introduce Irene to you. I first met her when she submitted her book, The Sitting Swing, which I relished & reviewed. I've enjoyed watching her elegant, informative & up-to-date ReaderViews.com thrive with her care & am thrilled with her eagerness to revive Rebeccasreads free gratis. I'm sure in time RRC will take on a whole other reincarnation, however, she assures me that all the archives of the Reviews, eInterviews, Editorials & Thoughts of a Rural Woman will be retained in their original format with original copyrights.
I wish Irene & all who work on this revival of RebeccasReads every good fortune & will watch its progress with grandmotherly interest.
