There is no need for me to tell you about the pain and
suffering of thousands caused by Hurricane Katrina. My household has
doubled as family has arrived and will now reside here until they can
rebuild their lives. The bright spot is that they were able to get
out of harms way well before the storm hit. My anxiety over their
welfare and a three day trip to Pascagoula with relief supplies has put
this issue behind by 5 days. Remember to think of those who are
experiencing what happened here last year, and if possible, please make a
contribution to the Red Cross or other organization involved in hurricane
relief.

We ask for your help to market one of our newest
Chapters, well sort of.....we will be hosting a dinner in Miami. We are
looking for a committee of volunteers to join the Team. However, in the
interim, some of our State volunteers will be meeting in Miami on October
21, to facilitate this event.
I send this to you, in hopes that you may have some contacts in the Miami
area. Maybe they would like to attend the event or even join the
committee. If you should have any leads to potential volunteers and or
anybody that would like to attend the event, please have them contact
either
Brett Bainter (407-851-1411) or
Rich Dailey (305-294-9363).

the regulations proposed, click
here to see details. The regular
waterfowl season dates should be finalized sometime toward the end of
September. Please contact
Diane Roth Eggeman, Waterfowl
Management Program Coordinator, FFWCC if you have questions.

Many of you have asked for an electronic version of the
Ducks Unlimited Banquet Cup Order Form. For those who are interested,
please check
here, with "out of the roof" gas
prices, the cup, which is a petroleum product, will shoot up in prices.
Chapters can order now from existing inventory and afford any increase.
