The 2008 Florida State Duck Calling Contest will be held on Sunday, August
10th, 2008 during the Fall Hunting Classic at Bass Pro Shops in Orlando, FL.
This years event will begin at 1:00 pm on the main stage and is proudly
sponsored by Ducks Unlimited, Bass Pro Shops and Hunter s Specialties. Because
of these great sponsors, the winner of the 2008 contest will receive a check
for $ 1,000! The second place finisher will receive a $ 300 gift certificate
from Bass Pro Shops. The third place finisher will receive a $ 200 gift
certificate from Bass Pro Shops. Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor of
this years event can contact the event chairman listed below.

Florida Wetlands Conservation Initiative This Months Events
The Florida Wetland Conservation Initiative was unveiled
at the state convention in May and implementation is 9/8 - Orlando Sponsor Dinner

raising funds for the breeding grounds that are 9/12 - East Hillsborough
