"Azaba-dazaba wick, uhm, uhm,
we need a makeover quick!"
"Honey, the baby wants to be fed. Throw her a bit of leftover damsel, will you?"
This one-of-a-kind, handmade altar is only available in our store.
Dryad Designs' Tree Pentacle is now available in bronze.
Come see this example of God/dess’ beauty as represented by nature! | HAPPY OSTARA!Spring is here (though it may not be making itself felt in some areas) and the promise of new things is in the air! What's new at Magickalystics this month? Well, our newsletter format, for one! Amalthea, the Aunt Clara of Webweaving, has been playing around with the html design. We're glad to report that Christopher Lowell did not suddenly appear at the store in
a huge puff of smoke. Nor were we transported back in time to the Salem Witch Trials. (A big thank you to those who have expressed their concern!) But read on to find out what has been appearing... EASTER EGGS WITH A DIFFERENCE!To celebrate Easter and Ostara, we have added some unique “Easter” eggs to our offerings. Hatching. With dragons breaking out. Due to requests from many customers, we have added several new dragon items. We have ceramic figures of a mother dragon with her new brood, a proud father, and several babies hatching. The big proud dragon is a very impressive piece, that currently has pride of place in our front window display.
Look at the ground under the dragon, and you will see the remains of his last meals. It would look very good in your home, perhaps on a cabinet, guarding the family silver. We have also added dragon sand timers, a perpetual desk calendar, and a box with a guardian dragon on top. CARVED ALTARSWe sold the last large carved altar we had, so we have added some new items from local craftsman Shota. We have a new large rectangular altar in a maple finish. The hinged top opens to reveal a generous storage chest underneath! (Yes, it's on casters!) If "available space" is but a faded memory, we also have a small, but taller altar with a storage drawer and open shelves underneath. Shota also
left us with some unique walking sticks and plaques on his last visit, but hurry--they are going fast! DRYAD DESIGNS JEWELRYOur sterling silver jewelry from Dryad Designs has proved very popular. However, with the cost of silver going through the roof, some of our customers find these beautiful pieces out of their price range. Dryad Designs has responded by producing new designs, as well as some of their most popular ones, in bronze and copper versions, made with the same high quality as their sterling silver jewelry. Magickalystics is pleased to be able to offer these amazing pieces, made from the same molds as the familiar silver jewelry, but with
a much lower price tag. So if you have been wanting a new pendant, but your tax refund check has not arrived yet, then consider one of these as a money-saving alternative. A HEALING PLACEOne of our objectives at Magickalystics is to provide a comfortable setting where people can explore their chosen paths. To help with this we have dedicated a large display in the front corner of the store to healing and meditative practices. We have included items designed to bring peace and serenity, such as singing bowls and table rock fountains, as well as examples of more earth-based spirituality, including an amethyst cathedral that is nearly three feet high. Yes, it is for sale (in-store pick up only),
but it is the most expensive item in the store. Experience the "Healing Center", and see if it helps you to discover the loving, peaceful divine in yourself. * * * * * That's it for this issue of Magickalystics News, but fear not, another edition will be along next month--who knows, maybe sooner. Till then, Brightest Blessings to You and Yours, Amalthea and Terry |
