Hi Tech Shui! | SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY HERE!Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! At the store, we’ve unpacked some new and restocked items for you that we’ll get to presently, including some more Dryad jewelry! The current Mercury Retrograde period in Gemini has really been playing havoc with Miss Amalthea, as she has heavy Mercury, Gemini, and Virgo influences in her chart! So customers, if you come into the store in the next few weeks you may find she has a hard time with words over one syllable, or else she's finding new inventive ones for an uncooperative POS register. It's also the reason (she contends) that this newsletter was a little late getting out. Oh,while we're on the topic of

DRYAD DESIGNS: THE JOY, THE SORROWAn order of silver, copper, and bronze pendants from Dryad Designs came in last week, so we have a plethora of pretties available once again. Among the latest arrivals is our popular Small Raven Pentacle in both copper and silver! We also have the large version in bronze, that matches the Raven Pentacle Wall Plaque. In addition, we have the crescent pentagram with gemstone in both amethyst and garnet versions. As always, there are just too many to list, so do come in and see! We’ll be updating the online catalog with these pieces as soon as Amalthea
can manage it! We were ecstatic to hear that the long-awaited Moon Goddess Garden Statues were ready to ship and even more so when the package arrived at the store. Unfortunately, shipping breakables is always an iffy proposition; once it leaves your hands, anything can happen, and this time, it did. Our beautiful Lady was broken and cracked in several places. Dryad won’t be able to send out another until (possibly) September, but we are on the list to receive a replacement once they’re back in stock. In the meantime, we’ve mended the statue we received and put her out on display in the store, so you can get an idea of what she’s like. She’s still a beautiful piece and looking at her, seated so serenely on her crescent throne, inspires such
a feeling of peace—almost a Celtic Quan Yin! NEW: CRYSTAL SPIRALSThese spinning spirals hold one or more faceted or smooth Austrian glass crystals. The battery-powered (1 D Cell) motor moves the spiral at a constant speed, creating the illusion that the crystals actually move up or down the center as they catch and reflect the light. We have four sizes, with both smooth and faceted crystals. The crystals come in clear, light blue, blue, red, yellow, amber, and green. (Sorry, not all colors are available in all sizes or types.). We also have hanging stands for the two smaller sized spirals. Buy components separately (the spiral and crystals are a unit) or combine them to save some money! MERCURY RETROGRADE--YES, AGAIN!By now, you've felt some effect from the Mercury Retrograde period that started on May 26 (we certainly have). This is a particularly powerful retrograde, because it began in Gemini, one of the two signs Mercury rules. It can be a great time for completing plans already put in motion, rest and relaxation after a prolonged busy period, or for inner reflection. On the other hand, this many not be the time for starting new projects, travel, or trying to communicate ideas, feelings, and opinions to others. Mercury goes direct again on June 19. However, the "Shadow Period" before the "Return"--the time until Mercury
