Home Workout Ideas
The Results are in and here's the results from our recent Challenge Question of the month:
Q? : What unique and cool ideas can you come up with for making your home a workout center?
Answers:
Use 1 litre plastic milk jugs as hand weights. Fill with water to increase or decrease the amount of weight.
Use a pair of socks filled with rocks or water balloons as something to lift for weights.
Lay on the floor in front of your couch and place your feet under the rim of the arm of the couch. Lift the couch with your
feet to do leg presses. Be careful with this one. You can use your kids as weights too if you need the little added
weight resistance.
Use a chair or end table (something you can sit on) to do leg lifts, knee lifts, tricep pulldowns and other resistance exerices.
Use your door - take your resistance bands and jam them in the top of the door and close door FIRMLY so it will not "boomerang" back
at you. Use it to do arm exercises.
Make raking leaves a workout. Work hard and get it done as quickly as possible for a great outdoor workout. Kill 2 birds with one stone!
