We're only the second month into 2008 and it's already been a crazy year; and we're loving it! There must be something in the drinking in L.A. that's making celebrities do some really bizarre things. But the insanity is not limited to Southern California. Pamela Anderson is up to old tricks in Paris, and R. Kelly broke his silence and spoke out against allegations that he had an inappropriate relationship with his ex-publicist's daughter. And legal troubles don't just affect entertainers. The New England Patriots are being sued for $100 million by fans of the St. Louis Rams who feel they were robbed of a Super Bowl title in 2002 when the Pats illegally videotaped practice sessions.
Of course in February love is in the air with Valentine's Day. U2 front man Bono made this Valentine's Day memorable as he helped raise $40 million for AIDS relief in Africa. Not everybody was feeling the love, though. Television ratings were down the toilet during prime time on Valentine's Day. Maybe people had, you know, better things to do than watch strike-induced reruns and reality shows.
