World events are moving at an ever-quickening pace. In response to these changes, Yowusa.com is now unveiling it??™s own Blog Site. There are several advantages to a Blog for our readers:

INFORMAL PUBLISHING: We??™ve been posting web articles since 1999. Since we??™re an all volunteer site, these articles require a labor intensive process. We will continue publishing articles as there are always issues that require this level of publishing. However, by implementing a Blog site, our trusted authors can publish directly to our readers.

BROADER REACH: Our articles employ a think tank style of writing, which is why a majority of our readership resides within the greater Washington D.C. area. We will continue to serve this audience but by adding a Blog site we can extend our audience to a more mainstream audience with volunteer Blog authors.

INFORMATION IMMEDIACY: A Blog site offers a more immediate way to broadcasting vital messages via RSS feeds. This will enable our volunteer blog authors to post messages of immediate interest to the broadest possible audience.

Will the blog.yowusa.com site become another chatty site with frivolous posts and annoying flames? No. Over the years, our mail lists and message boards have always been moderated to keep the dialogue friendly and the information useful. Our Blog site will feature the same level of commitment to information quality and relevancy.

As with any new technology, there is a bit of a learning curve, so please be patient with the old dogs at blog.yowusa.com as we learn new blogging tricks.
