"I Believe in You!"
A message of Hope, stories from the road.

Hello, my friend!

Extraordinary!  Our celebrating continues on in our hearts, but the time
of feasting, gathering and rejoicing is done for now.  Over the last
week, my son Keith celebrated his "Eleven Twenty" with three different parties.
We had our party for him here at our home on Sunday.  It was then that I presented Keith
with a basket of cards, letters, emails and gifts from "Friends he never met."
About 125 of you.  So many names I recognized because you have always
responded.  Some I discovered for the first time.

Whether you participated or privately shared in our joy, all of your prayers
and well wishes were greatly appreciated.

Keith has crossed to that ten years cancer free stage and we are blessed, indeed.

Go to my photo gallery and click on Keith's picture to see a few moments in his day.

Today's Message:

"A Day like this"
by Bob Perks

"It was a day like this," he said.  "A day so perfect that nothing could go wrong."

"It was a day like this," she said.  "A day so ordinary, I never expected anything
good would come from it."

So what was the difference between his day and hers?

Perception.  Expectations.  Want.  Desire.  Faith.  Attitude.

I could go on.

Still, it was the very same day.  A day like this.

So, why would one day be good and another bad?

The answer lies in the fact that a day cannot be good or bad.  It just "is."

It's the way you see it,  the way I see it and simply the way it is.

One looks at a painting of a single flower surrounded by darkness and says, "Oh, how very sad.
It appears to be so lonely.  This shows how the darkness, the ugly of the world, is consuming
everything that is beautiful!"

Another person sees the same painting and says, "How powerful!  Look at the single
flower rising out of the darkness.  What a wonderful example of hope in the world!"

Your perception is your reality.  How you choose to see things in your life is how you live it.

It was the very same picture.

Here is a new day before you.  A single, ordinary, perfectly imperfect, day.

Perhaps the first day of the best part of your life.  You don't know that.  So live expecting
it to be.

Dr. Wayne Dyer asks, "Is it I'll believe it when I see it?  Or "I'll see it when I believe it?"

The best day of your life..."A day like this."

"I believe in You!"

"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Goodbye."
