"I Believe in you!"
A message of Hope...stories from the road.
By Bob Perks

Hello, my Friend!

This week passed me by so fast I was just getting ready for Monday
and Friday came knocking at my door.

I hope it was a good week for you and a great weekend ahead.

My daughter-in-law began this new journey toward parenthood with a simple blood test.
The action, although common place, may very well send ripples through
the rest of our lives.

Prayer is the answer.

Love always and all ways,

Bob and Marianne

Today's message:
"Left with yourself"
By Bob Perks

"It's not like the "man in the mirror," he said.

"You're referring to the idea that we need to face ourselves each day," I replied.
"This is different?"

"Yes," he said quietly.  "You don't have to look in a mirror if you don't want to."

"Good point."

"But we face this same moment everyday whether we choose to acknowledge it
or not," he said.

He then asked me, "How right do you feel when you are left with yourself?"

Holding hands that welcome the touch.
Passing by, walking away, staying until...
Doing all that you can.
Falling short of expectations.
Listening when no one else will.
Speaking out because you know you should.
Stopping.
Going.
Writing.
Calling.
Walking tall.
Falling down.
Trying harder than you did yesterday.
Making promises you keep this time.
Changing habits that hurt more than they satisfy.
Giving more.
Receiving graciously.
Thanks.
Forgiving.
Being faithful.
Living faith-filled.
Being an example.
Working out and moving on.  Taking action.
Refraining from speaking without thinking first.
Living up to, standing up for, giving up and giving in.
Are you surrounded by many or living with much?
Alone by choice or by chance?
Life is so simply complex and so complete yet void of things
expected and nothing at the same time.
It makes no sense at all and yet, remains clear.
Still, there comes a moment each day, when all that you have and all that you need
you find in the words that repeat in your mind.
For it all comes down to one thing.
In that moment you are all that you have.

"How right do you feel when you are "left with yourself?"

"I believe in you!"
Bob
I encourage you to share my stories but I do ask that you keep my name and

"I Wish You enough!"

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Goodbye."
