"I Believe in You!" A message of Hope, stories from the road. By Bob Perks ************************************************* Hello, my friend! I am grateful to you all for your continued support and prayers.? Your kind acceptance of my love filled writing made me realize that
you are truly my friends. ? Rick Harris created a beautiful page with music from that? piece? as a tribute.? I humbly thank you, Rick. You can even share it with friends. ? Make it a great weekend! Love always and all ways, Bob and Marianne ? ************************************************* ? Perks Pearl of Wisdom ? "Time doesn't pass any faster as we get older.? We are just more aware of how truly valuable it is and struggle to hold on.? So, if you are young don't squander time.? It passes through your fingers like sand and you will spend your final years trying to grasp it." Bob Perks ************************************************* ? "Wishes"

I hear it calling me.? Still far enough off in the distance to try and ignore, but still I hear it. ? It's in the wind coming from somewhere I have been before.? It's in the earth, still warm and dry from summer's heat. ? I see it in the birds that visit my backyard each morning.? They hear it, too. ? The squirrels sense it.? They have known for awhile.? In between all that play time, they have been busy getting ready.? Their ears perk up and tails wag signaling one another. ? "Do you hear it?"? one asks. ? "Yes, I do," comes the reply. ? No time for basking in the sun any more.? Those? who wait too long suffer most when winter's early arrival catches them off guard. ? "Go away!" I shouted back.? "I am not yet ready for you, September!" ? I heard a mocking laughter from the hawk flying high over? head. ? It's not that I don't like the Fall, I do.? But it is the
often short lived season that suddenly dumps us into winter's cold grip. ? I hear it even now, "September's Voice."? It's sweet smelling harvest comes on the breath of Autumn's home-coming.? ? But I know your tricks, September's Voice.? You dazzle me with the brilliant colors of maple, spruce and elm.? You make my days more comfortable and fill the calendar with fairs, bountiful fruits, pumpkin pie, candy apples,? warm cider? and the bright harvest moon. ? Then one by one your colors fade and crumble to the ground leaving behind my barren trees
and empty flower gardens all. ? September's Voice is calling and I?? I am trying not to listen.? I am still committed to my summer sounds and sunsets late into the evening. ? Hear my voice sweet September...."Not now! Please, not now!" ? "I believe in You!" Bob Perks ? ? It was just... that your story tells it all.? What love and devotion! ? I can feel it in every line.? Thanks for sharing your feelings with us.? You have such a way with words.? May God continue to keep His hands on Marianne and your? lives.? As long as He is directing our lives, everything will be alright! ? Our love and prayers are with you and your beloved wife, Marianne. ? Jeanette Dearest Bob and Marianne, My heart and prayers are with you as you both face this hard time. May God bless you Marianne and bring you through your operation safely, for when you awake i know you'll see Bob's smiling face and feel his love and i'm sure that will help you through what you must face now. Be safe and know that you are loved by many, both of you!!!? ? Love and best wishes, Marg Australia. Dear, dear Bob, Your love for your wife is in every breath you take, every word you pen. If anyone misses it, then they are not reading with a true heart. Your
expressions of love for Marianne are breath taking in their simplicity and truth. She has to know how very loved she is by you. Thank you so much for sharing with the world this beautiful love. I would wish a Bob on every woman in the world.? I have my Bob. Bless you both in the upcoming days. Love and hugs, Nancy ? Bob, What a wonderful love letter!? Marianne is a lucky lady, indeed! ? Love to you both, Cynthia ? Bob, ? Thank you for sharing your deepest feelings with those of us who are friends you've never met. Tell Marianne how much you love her as many times each day as you can. I learned that lesson late in life but told Kathryn often after learning it. No wife hears it often enough so don't worry about "wearing it out". Bill ? Bob, Your story touched my heart more than you know.? My husband of 50 years and I feel the same way.? Each time we have had to journey through difficult times, our love for each other and for God, has carried us through.? The fears we have felt, the peace which only comes from God, and the joy of another day of life and new lives born into our family circle cannot be described in
words.? We may not be rich in money or other possessions, but we are rich in love, given to us from God and each other. May God continue to bless you both and give you the peace you need for whatever the days ahead bring. Janis ? Okay, now you made me cry!? Your love for Marianne is so great!!? It??™s amazing how we feel when our loved ones are sick or are having to endure anything that is painful.? It can eat away at us.? We just want to fix it.? You and Marianne and your family are in my prayers. Thank you so much for sharing you deep thoughts and feelings ??“ it??™s wonderful! Dear Bob, ? What a wonderful sentimental poem that you wrote for Marianne, as the two of you approach her surgery date.? The poem....I just know she'll love it!! ? It's such a miraculous thing that God does, when he places two people such as you and Marianne together to share life with.? God Bless you both and I wish you enough! ? If we all could only experience that kind of love someday...someway! Gail Massachusetts ? Dear Bob, The note you wrote to your wife touched me to the core and brought tears to my cheeks.? I share too that kind of special love with my husband of 33 plus years.? I almost lost him 4 years ago this month and I can tell you God??™s grace is sufficient for you and your beautiful wife Marianne.? ? The Song God gave to me in the wee hours that gave me hope and peace was Jehovah Jireh , Our provider, ? His grace is sufficient for Thee, He will give his angels charge over thee.? We will pray for you both that his grace will see you through this time in your lives together.? The JOY of the Lord is our strength. Sincerely, Kathy ? ? ************************************************** ? "I wish you enough!"
