Grease baking sheets. Combine cake mix, butter, & egg in a large bowl. Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips, & pecans. Shape rounded tablespoon of dough into balls. Place pecans on tops of balls. Place 1" apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheets.
