Thank you. 4 c. flour 1/2 c. milk 4 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. melted Crisco 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 t. salt 3/4 tsp. anise extract Beat eggs in bowl. Warm milk & add sugar; cool. Add cooled melted crisco to eggs & beat. Add milk & sugar mixture, vanilla & anise extract. Add dry ingredients. Dough should be such that can be handled to form cookies. It will be sticky. Make cookies in shape of S, 1, or balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
