This is my first newsletter.<br>
I think it would be helpful as writers to get more input from the men about<br>
their thoughts on the sex writing. My husband is deceased, but I think I know<br>
what he would have said. "Just hurry up and make some money." He would not have<br>
cared what I wrote. I used to go to an all women swimming pool and one husband<br>
waited for his wife in the lobby every time she came because he was the driver<br>
of their car. He was 80 to 81 years old and was always reading romance<br>
paperbacks. He liked them very much. Coming from the old school, one day he<br>
asked me "what sort of girls write these things, anyway". Apparently he had<br>
just read a flaming hot passage.<br>

I told him they were very nice girls, like anyone else. He made me laugh so<br>
much at his enthusiasm over the books that I suggested a couple others for him<br>
to read. On the other hand, I went to a male doctor one time, carrying a Nora<br>
Roberts book and he began talking about his favorite author, James Patterson.<br>
