The Daily Affirmation

Today I eagerly look within to discover the gifts of the Divine which are mine to express. I release any negative or limiting beliefs. I clear my consciousness so that I may live a transparent life in which the good of Spirit is made visible.

The Daily Card

Affirmation

All that I have allowed to dwell in my imagination has become true through my words and actions. The Creator is embodied in me. I gratefully accept the harvest of my creation.

Exercise

Make a "Wheel of Fortune" by drawing a circle, dividing it into the major areas of your life, such as health, relationships, work, spirituality, enjoyment or whatever categories you prefer to use. Then, find magazine photos or draw in those images of things you would like to see happen through you in the next six months of time. Put the Wheel of Fortune where you will notice it everyday. The images will implant in your subconscious and seemingly without effort begin to draw you into situations and learning which will bring about the results you have imaged-in.

Meditation

Imagine that you are sitting before a large Wheel of Fortune. Give it a spin and see if the jackpot is yours today. If you are 'off the mark', ask what is interfering with your good luck.

Visualiziation

In your easy and relaxed way, begin to daydream of all the good, fortunate things you have wished for and received. Make your images clear, detailed, and colorful. Let yourself see how much you have harvested. See the support you have been given by various people around you. See how your gifts have helped others in their own lives. Allow the richness of your resources to become clear. Then give the mental command that your ability to draw to yourself the things, people, and situations you desire is increasing daily and that your desires are ever constantly aligning with the greatest good for all. Enjoy.

The Daily Crystal

Hematite

Stone's names: Hematite, Haematite.

Color: Hematites occur in opaque red or red-brown.

Description:. Hematite is a silvery, shiny opaque stone that almost looks like metal. Hematite is heavy and relatively hard oxide mineral, that constitutes the most important iron ore because of its high iron content (70 percent) and its abundance.

The name's origin: Hematite derives its name from the Greek word haem (blood ) in allusion to its red color.

Varieties: Many of the various forms of hematite have separate names.
The steel-gray crystals and coarse-grained varieties have a brilliant metallic lustre and are known as specular iron ore or looking glass ore. They are used as intaglios in men's signet rings.
Thin scaly types are called micaceous hematite.
Much hematite occurs in a soft, fine-grained, earthy form called red ochre or ruddle.
Intermediate between these types are compact varieties, often with a reniform surface (kidney ore) or a fibrous structure (pencil ore). Red ochre is used as a pigment in paints and crayons, a purified form, rouge, is used to polish plate glass.

From the stone history: Ancient Egyptians used hematites as ornamental objects placed inside their tombs. Red ochre was used by preistoric artists in their cave paintings. Nowdays hematite may also be used as a polishing powder and as a paint pigment.

Shopping guide: As hematite hardness is 5.5 - 6.5 it will scratch glass, but is in turn scratched by quartz. It can be identified by this property and by its streak, which is the color of the dried blood.

Healing ability: Garnet helps fighting against venereal diseases, it has a positive influence on a bladder. This stone also helps to treat hysteria.

Mystical power: Said to be a good healing and grounding stone, it strengthens the body and improve resistantance to life's stresses. Hematite inspire inner life and helps to keep inward peace.

Deposits: The most important deposits of hematite come from a sedimentary deposit: the Lake Superior district in North America. Other important deposits include Minas Gerais (Brazil), Cerro Bolivar (Venezuela), Labrador, and Quebec.

The Daily Astrological Overview

Mercury the Messenger, usually the fastest moving planet, now appears to stop in its orbital tracks as it begins its 24-day retrograde phase. Communication issues are accentuated when Mercury is retrograde, so watch for missed phone calls, scheduling snafus and computer glitches. It doesn't have to be bad, however. It only requires that we pay extra careful attention to all facets of intellectual exchange. The Libra Moon reminds us to balance our need to be liked with a drive to express what we feel, no matter what the consequences.
