What do you get if you cross a cat with a gorilla?

Can I Help You Chose?

For months Bill had been Lynn's devoted admirer.  Now, at long
last, he had  collected up sufficient courage to ask her the most
momentous of all  questions.

"There are quite a lot of advantages to being a bachelor," Bill
began, "but  there comes a time when one longs for the
companionship of another being, a  being who will regard one as
perfect, as an idol; whom one can treat as  one's absolute own;
who will be kind and faithful when times are hard; who
will share one's joys and sorrows."

To his delight, Bill saw a sympathetic gleam in Lynn's eyes.

Then she nodded in agreement.  Finally, Lynn responded,

"I think it's a great idea!  Can I help you choose which puppy to
buy?"

You'll know your cat loves and trusts you when she:

"Does the two step" on your lap.

Greets you with her tail held high and straight, as if to
say, "I'm so happy To see you!"

Rolls over to expose her belly, not always to invite you
to scratch it, but to show she trusts you enough to
assume this vulnerable position.

Suzette...Resting Peacefully in Doggie Heaven

Suzette was my baby. My husband bought her for me a few
months after I lost my dear mother in 1991. She was only 6 months
old when I got her. She grew up with my daughter who was 10 yrs
old at the time but yet she was not real fond of children at all.
She wanted all of my attention on her.

Suzette developed heart disease, which took her life in August 2004.
She lived several years with this. I had her to the vet on a regular
basis. I tried having the fluid taken off her heart but it got to the
point that was not working for her either. The vet and his workers
knew her by name. They kept telling me to think of having her put
to sleep. I just could not bring myself to do this at the time. She
was getting worse by the day. My husband finally had to make
the decision to have her put to sleep.

I will never forget the day he walked away with her. My heart
was broke and still aches for her. I do know that she is better off
now. I have not brought myself to get another one, not sure I ever
will. I love animals and always had them but never had I had one that
I was so attached to. I tell my grandaughter, Suzette is in doggy
heaven now.

Rabbits need roughage

Feeding rabbit pellets alone may cause problems. You should
provide a well balanced, fiber rich diet for your rabbit.

Commercial rabbit pellets are a good base to the diet, but should be
restricted (especially in heavy rabbits) and supplemented heavily with
fresh vegetables and hay.
