What did the hungry Dalmatian say when he had a meal?

One Brave Parrot

This guy is in a plane when he feels thirsty. He calls the
stewardess and asks her politely for a Large Whiskey. There's a
parrot in the seat next to him, who snaps, "A double Scotch and
make it quick". "Yes,sir" the stewardess says, and quickly gets
the bird his drink - but ignores the guy.

The parrot downs his in one gulp, and says "gimme another". The
stewardess gets him a second drink, ignoring the guy again. The guy,
meanwhile has been asking for his drink very politely. He decides to
use the parrot's tactics and snarls at the stewardess, "You @#*$# hag,
get me my bloody Scotch!".

Suddenly a large co-pilot comes out of the cockpit and ejects both
the guy and the parrot off the plane.

As they're falling, the parrot turns to the guy and says "You
know, you're quite brave for someone who can't fly...".

A Dog's Plea
Author Unknown

Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no
heart in all the world is more grateful for
kindness than the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though
I should lick your hand between blows, your
patience and understanding will more quickly
teach me the thing you would have me learn.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's
sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce
wagging of my tail when your footstep falls
upon my waiting ear.  Please take me inside
when it is cold and wet, for I am a domesticated
animal, no longer accustomed to bitter elements.

I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet
beside the hearth.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for
I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst.
Feed me clean food that I may stay well, to
romp and play and do your bidding, to walk at
your side, and stand ready, willing and able to
protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.

And, my friend, when I am very old, and I no
longer enjoy good health, hearing and sight, do
not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am
not having any fun. Please see that my trusting
life is taken gently. I shall leave this earth
knowing with the last breath I draw that my
fate was always safest in your hands.

Your Pet's On Parade

She Rules the Roost

I am a single woman who thought, although I had grown up with
animals as a major part of my life, I didn't want any of my own...
then my mother became terminally ill.  I got a kitten to keep me company
and cheer me up--she was Angel the first three days; then she decided
she didn't like being alone in the apartment, so she shredded every
roll of toilet tissue I had and scattered the confetti through the carpet.

So D'Monica and I headed home to Mobile, AL every weekend to
visit my mom, a five hour drive that she hated.  My mother referred to
her as the only grandchild she would get out of me. Since D'Monica
didn't like other animals, she spent much of her time cuddling with my
mother on her bed. She was with her the night my mom died.

This left us with a dilemma as none of my siblings, including me, was
equipped to take her three little dogs, one Pekingese and two Pekithings
('cause the AKC registered mother didn't do what she was supposed to). I
decided to revamp my life and bring the dogs back to Atlanta with me.

D'Monica was not a happy camper.

She let the dogs know immediately that she was in charge:  she had to sniff
their food before they could eat; when they came in from a romp in the
yard, if she were lying in front of the water dish, they could not drink;
she decided which squeaky toys were theirs and when.  Eight years later,
the hierarchy holds but what a love-filled, adventurous house we have!

"You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give
you a look that says, 'My God, you're right! I never would've
thought of that!'"

What did the hungry Dalmatian say when he had a meal?

That hit the spots!
