Featured News 1: Woman's funeral shock

An Austrian woman discharged herself from hospital to find out why her family did not visit her over Christmas to find them arranging her funeral.

A hospital mix-up had led to Herzlinde Eissler's family being wrongly told that she had died.

The 64-year-old had been admitted to the hospital in Mistelbach in Lower Austria with stomach pains.

Her son Leopold Eissler, 39, said he had gone to visit his mother shortly before Christmas only to be told she was dead and had then spent the festive period organising her funeral.

He said: "I'm not sure whether to be delighted because my mother is alive or furious that they could have made such a mistake at the hospital.

"At least it explains why they could not find the body when we wanted to pay our last respects.”

"I could not believe it when she walked in through the front door and the whole family were all sitting around dressed in black and planning the funeral."

Featured News 2: Man cooks eggs on floor

Officials are investigating after a Chinese man learned he could cook eggs on the floor of his home.

People have been flocking to Liu Yawen's home in Changsa to see the 'miracle'.

He first noticed something was unusual after his floor gave off steam after he wiped it with a wet cloth.

China Daily, quoting Xiaoxiang Morning Post, says he beat an egg and poured it on the floor - and it was cooked in 10 minutes.

Liu now receives neighbours, relatives and friends every day at his home.

Mmeanwhile, experts are investigating but have still not discovered why the floor of his home is so hot.

Featured News 3: Sweet and sour stamps

Stamps released in China to celebrate the Year of the Pig taste of sweet and sour pork.

When you scratch the front of the stamps, it smells of the popular Chinese dish and when the back of the stamp is licked it tastes of the dish too.

The stamps are on sale in China ahead of their New Year on February 18, reports Metro.

Royal Mail launched Britain's first scratch 'n' sniff stamp in 2001 - they gave off eucalyptus aromas.
