Subject: Southbound Kenya Discover Safari Reminder - October19, 2005

Hello Subscriber
We are sending you this mail to remind you of our
special "Southbound Kenya Discover Safari" tour.

This 6-day safari will take you to two of the world's
hot spots for the African Elephant- Amboseli National
Park and Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. As a bonus,
you also visit Tsavo -an outstanding elephant sanctuary
in its own right.

You start off with Maasai Mara, Kenya's most famous and
finest game sanctuary. The Mara offers wildlife in such
variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe:
over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.

Then to Amboseli, which sits on the lower slopes of
mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa's highest. The animal
pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the
mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. You
end up at Tsavo West, where you see elephants,
crocodiles, vervet monkeys, antelope, baboons, giraffes,
hippos and lions. The park is a marvel in terms of
geo-physical character and plant diversity

Flying Tips:-
=============
If you are intending on flying soon then try the following
"aero-therapy" tips below and help yourself to some
in-flight comfort.

1. Be Prepared
=============

Before you get on the plane you can prepare yourself for
a helathier journey. Getting a good night sleep before you
travel and eating a light meal before you board will give you
extra reserves of energy for the flight

2. Breathe Easy
================
Air quality in the cabin of an aircraft is very low in humidity.
On short trips, you may notice the effects on your eyes, nose
and throat, but on a longer journey the lack of moisture will
soon cause dryness in sensitive areas.

What to do:-
- Increase your intake of water and fruit juices
- Cut down on alcohol,tea and coffee which lead to dehydration
- Remove contact lenses if possible
- Use moisturise on exposed skin and apply lip balm on dry lips

3. Keep moving
==============
Sitting still in restricted poistures for any length of time can
result in sluggish blood circulation leading to tiredness and
muscle cramps. It also affects water retention, casing sore
and swollen feet and ankles.

what to do:-
- Stand up and walk in the aisle when possible
- Even seated, you can improvise a routine of simple stretching
  exercise. flexing different muscles in your feet, legs, arms and legs

4. Under Pressure?
==================
Air pressure inside the cabin of an aeroplane has to be adjusted to
maintain a healthy environment at high altitudes. Although most peoples
are usually unaffected, it's bad news for anyone with a cold,
blocked sinuses or those who suffer from hay fever,lung disease,
blood disorders or heart diseases.

What to do:-
- Suck a sweet during take-off and landing
- Try yawning to relieve painful pressure in your ears

5. Help Yourself
================

It's a good idea to watch your diet aboard the aeroplane. Eating and
drinking in excess, or consuming the wrong kinds of food can lead to
indigestion and uncomfortable bloating

What to do:-
- Eat a light,well balanced meal before you travel
- Eat smaller than usual helpings of food on the aircraft
- Avoid too much salt, sugar and dairy products
- Avoid fizzy drinks and gaseous foods before you fly to give your
  digestive system a fair chance
