The staff of Insidious Reflections wishes to convey our sincere sorrow at the great loss in Asia.
The earthquake is reported to have been the strongest in forty years, and the Tsunami that followed has left many dead, and many homeless and without families.
I urge you to keep the victims in your thoughts in this New Year, and I hope the religious among you will be praying for them.
Words fail to convey the amount of grief these people must be feeling as the death count continues to rise even as I sit here typing this. It truly is a heart-wrenching thought to know that with every word I write, another person may be receiving news of a lost family member.
At the time of this writing more than 125,000 people have been confirmed dead, and more that 5,000,000??”yes, that??™s five million people??”have lost their homes.
I hope you will strongly consider donating any amount of money you can afford to one of the many relief funds working to help the survivors of this great tragedy. For your convenience, I??™ve located a comprehensive listing of charities sending funds to Tsunami victims. It can be found here and contains religious and non-religious organizations.

On behalf of the entire staff of Insidious Reflections, thank you for donating any amount to any of these organizations.

A Note From The Editor

Well, folks, the New Year is upon us. It snuck up like a purse-snatcher and is running away just like 2004 did. Am I the only one sitting here wondering where the hell the past year went? Probably not, but man, did it go by fast! Insidious Reflections is moving as fast as that scumbag purse-snatcher as well. We??™re building up steam and nobody knows where we??™ll end up. In the next issue, you can expect some intense stories and some great original art by our on-staff-artists.
Not to mention movie reviews from our Movie Guru, Paul,(AKA Shyza), and book reviews of some of the newer releases. Also, there will be an interview with author, Brian Keene, conducted by our talent scout, Robert Lewis and another interview with author, James Newman, conducted by our ???Man on the Street???, Stephen Sommerville.
This will be our first PDF issue. (The website launch was considered issue zero, BTW) We??™re extremely excited to get it out and into your greedy little hands and are committed to having it published on the 31st of January. So, keep a look out??¦it??™s heading your way!
We are finishing the final touches on the upcoming issue, but we??™re already hard at work on the next one. We want to be an E-Zine that sticks around, so be sure to spread the word about us. We??™re only gonna get better from here on out.
Thank you, Constant Reader, for being here to receive what we have to offer and for sticking around to see what??™s coming up next. Until next time??¦may your days be inspired with blood and your nights be??¦insidious.
