To my Friends, Customers and Business Partners,
I am not sure how to start a note like this. Usually words flow from my fingers as soon as they hit the keyboard. So I will just simply say that this last month has been a difficult one. Just barely a month ago my brother was admitted to the hospital and was diagnosed with esophagus cancer and three weeks later passed away. He never even was fully conscious enough to know that he had cancer or how to fight all the problems that his organs and body was going through.
We had his funeral services yesterday and I am still in a fog. Not just me but, my whole family has been caught in a whirlwind for over a month!
The reason I am sharing this information is I had to tell the few of you who did know the details what was going on, and that he passed away last Thursday. And also thank you for your kind thoughts, prayers and stories of what helped you make it through the loss of a sibling. I posted his information on our Blog.
I am also letting the rest of you know as I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you or your emails. I am also trying to catch up on phone calls and those of you who have had some special requests.
We are starting to catch up and still packing orders and getting things out, yes I know I made a few mistakes last week, but I think I have that all taken care of. Never again will I pack orders with such short amounts of sleep!
I know that it will take awhile to get back to normal and everything focused again but, a special thanks to all of you as you have been very patient and understanding while we have gone through a difficult time!
It is sometimes easier to hide your grief when you have someone to fill in for you at work so you can get the things done that you need to do and come back when you are ready. Unfortunately we do not have that as an option, as we are the only ones to back each other up!
So thanks for sticking with us and I will pass your condolences on to my Family members!
