Subject: Subscriber, Get Bronzed not Burnt! - June23, 2006

Hi Subscriber,

Today we are going to go over the "Golden Rules of Bronzing"
A perfectly bronzed summer face is glowing and healthy! Bronzed
beauties are back with succulent summer lips in shades of coral,
pink, cherry and even sheer shimmer for a look that's perfect for
the poolside or dancing till dawn!

Although we all know too much sun is a bad thing, we all still love
the glow of a suntan. There's just something appealing about
glowing, tan skin that says "look at me"! To keep or get a tan
without damaging your skin, fake it with bronzing products that
mimic the sun's effects.

Just be sure when choosing a bronzer, it doesn't appear too Orange
or shiny or you will look like Will Ferrell on Oscar Night!

A little shimmer goes a long way; too much shimmer can make skin
look unnatural and harsh, especially mature skin. Never go more
than two shades darker than your natural skin tone; bronzers are
meant to warm your skin, not color it.

When applying a bronzer, it's important to have the right brush. A
fluffy powder brush is your best bet. Check out the Mini Flat Dome
quality goat hair brush on our website! This brush works
well at applying bronzers and color boosters.

To begin, dip your brush into the Mineral Bronzer and swirl to
infuse the minerals into your brush, tap and excess back into the
jar. Dust bronzer where the sun would normally hit the face: on the
nose, across the forehead and high on the cheekbones and across the
bridge of the nose, blend well.

For lighter complexions, follow with a touch of pink or rose blush
on the apples of the cheeks for a natural-looking flush.

If you are using a cream, stick or liquid bronzers you should apply
these with your fingers. First apply the bronzer and rub fingers
together to even the color. Then dab the bronzer onto the apples of
your cheeks and blend using circular motions. Work the color back
toward the hairline. Leftover color can be dabbed onto the bridge
of the nose, forehead and brow bones to warm the rest of the face.

The best rule of thumb for bronzing is to start light and build
slowly. If you happen to accidentally over-bronze, either use a dry
cotton pad to wipe some off or apply a light coat of our "Satin" to
lighten the color.

Keep your make-up simple. If you are using a bronzer, don't apply a
coppery or overly shiny eye shadow and lipstick. You don't want
your entire face to announce itself before you do!
Simplify eye
make-up with translucent shades on the eyes and lips, such as light
copper colors, or barely there browns.  Also add some color to your
lips with a tinted lip balm, make sure it isn't too shiny!

In your next issue of "That's the Beauty of It" - We will be back
with a tip for you on how to get that "Smokey Eye Effect"

Until then practice those bronzing techniques!
