DEVIL'S DUE ANNOUNCES NEW THEME TO G.I. JOE COMIC BOOK SERIES
Series re-launches in June with a 25c issue

Chicago, IL -- Feb 21, 2005 - This summer, Devil's Due Publishing
(DDP) will introduce a new theme to its G.I. JOE line of titles,
focusing on a smaller, more streamlined team with a rotating cast
of guest stars. G.I. JOE #43 will be the last issue of the
current G.I. JOE ongoing series when the world is turned upside
down after a new menace hits both G.I. JOE and COBRA. And the
changes will last forever. The new series will be titled G.I.
JOE: America's Elite.

The final two issues of the current series (#42 and #43) will
each be 42 pages and cost $4.50. Exclusive preview images can be
seen in the near future at www.devilsdue.net.

June will see the release of G.I.JOE: AMERICA'S ELITE #0, priced
at an amazingly low 25c. Issue #1 follows in July.

Some big-name creative talent takes over the reins. Joe Casey
steps in as the new writer and newly signed exclusive DDP artist
Stefano Caselli is on pencils. Current G.I. JOE writer, Brandon
Jerwa will begin work on a top secret project that ties in with
this title, and Tim Seeley begins drawing an equally classified
upcoming project that is going to be his best work yet.

"The 'new' G.I.JOE will take place about one year after issue
#43," said Josh Blaylock, President of DDP. "Some of the
characters will have gone through major changes and we'll be
tackling the age issues with the characters and the challenges
each faces. The current series will end with a bang, that much
you can bank on. And, yes, not all the key players will survive
the series---on both the G.I. JOE and COBRA sides."

Devil's Due. Reminding everyone that pop culture IS our culture.

ABOUT DEVIL'S DUE PUBLISHING (DDP)
Devil's Due Publishing was formed in 1999 as both a commercial
art studio and a small press comic book publisher. DDP's first
breakout success was 2001's revamp of G.I. JOE, returning the
long-lost 1980s characters to comics. Fans bought over 100,000
copies per month, immediately propelling G.I. JOE to the top of
the charts. Today, DDP's lineup includes Army of Darkness, Street
Fighter, Hack/Slash, Mu, and the Aftermath universe, a new
imprint featuring super-powered heroes in titles like Defex,
Breakdown, Blade of Kumori and Infantry.

TENTH MUSE, ISIS, AND OTHERS COMING TO SHOCKER TOYS
Blue Water Productions signs toy development deal with Shocker
Toys

BUFFALO, NY (February 15, 2005) - Shocker Toys and Southern
Island are pleased to announce the debut of the newest licensed
products from its SHOCKINI line up! These cool 3" versions of
Blue Water Productions' characters feature amazing levels of
articulation and detail for their small size.

A release date scheduled for April, Blue Water Shockinis will
debut with new and fresh Super Heroes, like THE TENTH MUSE and
ATLAS - with future lines such as THE LEGEND OF ISIS and JUDO
GIRL already in development. Each figure is based around the
Shockini body, but presents unique accessories and body parts
appropriate to each new character.

"It's an incredible feeling to have an action figure of
yourself," said TENTH MUSE model, Cindy Margolis.  "But these
Shockini's are amazing looking and definitely a collector's
item.  My son, Nicholas will absolutely love them!"

Shockinis were created in 2003 by Shocker Toys as a better block
style action figure for more movement and better
interchangeability. Collectors and kids have embraced these new
mini toys that have already appeared in stores starring a variety
of characters, from TOXIC AVENGER to Arcana Studios' KADE, and
from 4 arm customizable versions to TENTH MUSE from Blue Water
Productions.

Both Shocker Toys and Southern Island will be showing Blue Water
Shockinis at their booth #5922 at Toy Fair this February. Mass-
market buyers are urged to contact Joseph Reiter from Southern
Island while Specialty market buyers and press should contact
Geoff Beckett from Shocker Toys for an appointment.

With growing library of fresh characters, Blue Water Productions
is a steadily growing Entertainment company. BWP's characters are
being turned into movies, children's books and comics making them
a great source of intellectual property. The first wave of Blue
Waters' Shockinis will consist of TENTH MUSE, GRAYSON BISHOP,
ATLAS, and CAPTAIN STEEL.  Later the company will also produce
figures based on BWP's characters, ISIS, LYNX, and JUDO GIRL.

Shocker Toys and Southern Island will also be producing Statues,
and mini busts as well of the Blue Water characters.

"Shocker Toys are so cool," said BWP Managing Editor, and the
creator behind these characters, Darren G. Davis. "When I first
saw them on the market, I knew I wanted them to make toys of our
characters too!  I can't wait to see the final product at the San
Diego Comic Con this year."

Mark Waid takes on City of Heroes

In an incredible co-venture with NCsoft & Cryptic Studios, Top
Cow Productions will launch City of Heroes as a comic book that
will link together gamers and comic book fans alike! Celebrated
writer Mark Waid (X-Men, Hunter-Killer, Flash, JLA, Ruse,
Fantastic Four, Kingdom Come, Empire) teams up with David
Nakayama (Proximity Effect, a graduate of the Joe Kubert School
of Cartoon and Graphic Art, and a Wizard art contest winner), to
bring to life the action and the adventure of the super heroes
and villains that make up the massive online multiplayer world
that comprise the City of Heroes.

With an audience of well over 100,000 subscribers to the game
within two weeks of its April launch in 2004, the multiplayer
online universe has already received mass market and critical
acclaim in the gaming industry. When the City of Heroes comic
book launches in May, the impact of the tie-in of the game and
the comic book will be huge, as the comic book will be sent out
to all City of Heroes game subscribers. "The most exciting part
for me," says Editor in Chief, Jim McLauchlin, "is the fact that
we'll be sending this out to over 200,000 City of Heroes players
every month. There are a legion of fans out there who love comic
books as an idea and as a genre, but may have forgotten that they
love comic books in and of themselves. This is our chance to
remind them. It's a great day for the comic business."

As the official comic book for City of Heroes, the ongoing series
will focus on the signature heroes from the online game, The
Freedom Phalanx: Statesman, Manticore, Positron, Sister Psyche
and Synapse. "Our goal is to bridge the gap between game players
and comics readers with something that appeals to both and
conjures the best elements of both media," says Top Cow
Productions President Matt Hawkins. "I've been playing the game
since it came out and met with game creator Jack Emmeret and
NCsoft marketing guru Kevin Sullivan. Our discussions eventually
let to this deal and announcement."

Cryptic Studios, Inc., located in Los Gatos, California, was
established in July of 2000 and is an independent developer of
massively multiplayer online games for the PC and next generation
consoles. Its first game, City of Heroes, launched in April 2004.
The game takes place in a virtual world where thousands of people
play simultaneously, take on the role of super-powered heroes,
fight villains and help create a dynamic story in a visually-
stunning, 3-D graphical world.

NCsoft - North America (NC-NA) is headquartered in Austin, Texas
and is part of Korea-based NCsoft Corporation. NC-NA, with
development and administrative offices in Texas and California,
launched two ground-breaking titles in the first half of 2004,
Lineage(r) II and City of Heroes. The company also works with
NCsoft subsidiaries and third party developers throughout North
America to develop and publish innovative online entertainment
software products. More information about NCsoft - North America
can be found at http://www.PlayNC.com.

and 2 licensed) in the industry's Top 10, seven at #1, a feat
accomplished by no other publisher in the last two decades. Its
flagship franchise Witchblade was TNT's #1 original film of 2000.
Virtually all of Top Cow's other properties are in development as
