SPOILER WARNING: Some plot details may be revealed in these
reviews!

Title: Jonas: Tales of an Ironstar # 3
Publisher: Code Deco
Writer: Brian Colin
Artist: Brian Colin
Price: $ 3.95 US
Rating: 3 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: Its the wild west meeting a post apocalyptic future.
Jonas encounters some really nasty looking Seraks these half
snake, half spider creatures are not pretty. And seeing the big
Drakor descending on Jonas and Mary is indeed a frighting scene.
The artwork is unique you will not see its like in any other
comic. Its painted watercolor style does work but it could use a
bit more detail.
The story this issue kind of jumps around to much without
letting you know its doing it. So it can be confusing. Jonas's
character though stands out. He is a hard man who has had a hard
life. Jonas's character is well brought out. Meeting up with Mary
was indeed fortuitous. She is just as rough and tough as Jonas.
We slowly learn more about Jonas and his world. It is fascinating
the farther you enter this world the more engrossed you will
become.

Title: Legion of Super-Heroes # 2
Publisher: DC
Writer: Mark Waid
Penciler: Barry Kitson
Inkers: Gray, Pascoe, Kitson
Price: $ 2.95 US, $ 4.50 Can
Rating: 5 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: Its wonderful seeing this team in action. They work so
well together. Dream Girl the precog is so cute as she kicks
butt. Her vocabulary is even cuter than her. But Brainac 5
doesn't like her using her precog abilities were he has to use
lots of brain power to achieve the same thing. This could create
hostility but its nothing really serious.
On Naltor Dream Girl's home planet everyone under 18 has
stopped dreaming. So Brainac 5, Dream Girl, Shadow Lass and
Karate Kid go off to investigate. War is coming and first to die
will be Naltor's young. So the elder took away their dreams so
they wouldn't know about their coming deaths. Dream Girl makes
the call to let them know the truth.
The scene with Dream Girl telling Brainac 5 they will be
married is hilarious. Of course she was just joking wasn't she?
Also Cosmic Boy filling Brainac 5's lab with goats tops even
Dream Girl.
This series is fun and exciting. This is what comics are all
about, having a good time. This team comic is written as a team
comic. It is so refreshing to see.
The art while showing us various aliens and technology shows
off this future universe to perfection. The action scenes are
well choreographed as these young heroes spring into action.
Tomorrow's Heroes are here now!

Title: Space Ghost # 3
Publisher: DC
Writer: Joe Kelly
Artist: Ariel Olivetti
Price: $ 2.95 US, $ 4.50 Can
Rating: 3 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: The art has a very realistic quality to it. Space
Ghost is shown as a big tough and relentless pursuer of those
responsible for his wife's death. The pin-up page as he holds
aloft the villain is spectacular.
Zorak makes his appearance this issue. His fleet of ships
ready for battle. Zorak is drawn disproportional but he is a
giant bug after all.
Space Ghost makes use of his suits invisibility and his ships.
They let him sneak up easily on people. The effect looks great.
Even with the several fights Space Ghost has, the comic and
story move along slowly.
The cover has a fantastic pose of Space Ghost partially
invisible in outer space. His space ship is a futuristic marvel.

Title: Superman/Batman # 17
Publisher: DC
Writer: Jeph Loeb
Penciler: Carlos Pacheco
Inker: Jesus Merino
Price: $ 2.95 US, $ 4.50 Can
Rating: 3 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: Without a Batman ever existing the world is a much
different place. Ra's Al Ghul rules the land. Superman has to
find a way to get Batman back. Batman was enjoying life as Bruce
Wayne a millionaire playboy and his parents were still alive.
Superman wants to take away that and get Batman back.
This story is full of twists and turns. You will be surprised.
Sgt. Rock and Easy Company plus the Blackhawks attacking
Superman is great to see.
The art is great, the villains are colorful. They look mature
and full of knowledge. You can also see the underlying evil just
below the surface.
The one thing missing this issue is the story really doesn't
grab you.

Title: Adam Strange # 5
Publisher: DC
Writer: Andy Diggle
Artist: Pascal Ferry
Price: $ 2.95 US, $ 4.50 Can
Rating: 4 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: The art is spectacular. The Omega Beam Device may be
one of the greatest weapons in existence or it might just be a
better mouse trap. Tigorr's sense of humour is wonderful. You'll
laugh out loud. The Spider Guild Swarm ships look ominous.
The Omega Men are an inter-galactic hodge podge of various
aliens. They work well together. And they look good doing it.
The chase on Maltus is exciting as Adam chases a space ship.
They race recklessly through the city. Adam catches him and its
Sardath, the inventor of the Zeta Beam. Adam is getting closer
to finding his planet and family. Its easy to see that he is a
man who will do anything to get them back.

Title: Batgirl # 60
Publisher: DC
Writer: Anderson Gabrych
Penciler: Ale Garza
Inker: Jesse Delperdang
Price: $ 2.50 US, $ 3.85 Can
Rating: 3 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: Excitement hits you as Oyyx and Batgirl are training.
These girls are poetry in motion. Beautiful and deadly they move
in fluid motion.
Alfred takes Batgirl to her new house. Its big. It has its own
version of the Batcave. It comes with all the frills.
Penguin is in town and a few old villains show up to. Batgirl
will have her hands full, cause you will not believe who the old
villains are that show up.
The story is setting up for all the main characters to meet.
It should be quite the party when they do.

Title: Superman: Strength # 2
Publisher: DC
Writer: Scott McCloud
Penciler: Alvir Amanico
Inker: Terry Austin
Price: $ 5.95 US, $ 9.25 Can
Rating: 4 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: A ten year old Clark goes for  run when a solar
eclipse gives him a taste of his powers to come. He runs 900
miles in a hour. In Chicago we see even as a young child Clark
wants to help those in need. You also get to see Clark's Pa
Jonathan and its easy to see where Superman's moral values came
from.
Super,an and Luther end up working together to save Metropolis
from paper clips, pens, coins and keys. Yes they really do.
The art style is reminiscent of John Byrne. The females are
all drawn with a naughty sex appeal. Sometimes you are looking
so much at the character you miss the backgrounds. Well don't do
that here. The artists have filled them in with such style and
grace.

Title: Michael Turner's Soulfire # 3
Publisher: Aspen
Storytellers: Michael Turner & Jeph Loeb
Script: J.T. Krul
Price: $ 2.99 US, $ 4.35 Can
Rating: 2 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: The metal robotic dragon is a thing of beauty. Its big
and shiny and oh so deadly. The only problem is its only shown
for two pages. There are some good poses of Benoist in armour.
His ship looks sleek and streamlined.
Overall though the comic is mainly about the main characters
walking or driving around. Nothing new is revealed. And the art
except for a few poses is really boring.

Title: Brian Pulido's Unholy # 1
Publisher: Avatar
Writer: Brian Pulido
Penciler: Di Amorim
Inker: Allan Sam
Price: $ 3.50 US
Rating: 4 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: Penny almost dies but God sends her back. She is now
one of the fallen. This story moves along fast. Angels and
demons battle it out on Earth. When God sends Penny back she
gains fantastic powers, she is stronger, faster, move agile.
This comic is violent, its full of killing, murder and mayhem.
The demons are drawn with imagination. The women look beautiful
and sexy. This black and white comic does have some great art.
This issue is meant to get your attention and it does!

Title: 100 Girls # 3
Publisher: Arcana
Writer: Adam Gallardo
Artist: Todd Demong
Price: $ 2.95 US, $ 4.50 Can
Rating: 5 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: Syvia is talking out loud to the girl in her head and
its making her look crazy. And when she arrives at her
destination its an insane asylum. Isn't that ironic.
Sylvia's facial expressions and the way she moves her mouth
are definitely eye catching. Its a bit strange looking to. But
than again shes a strange little girl who could snap your bones
like a twig.
In that insane asylum is another little girl that looks just
like Syvia. As Sylvia breaks into the asylum her twin Carla
tries to break out and than shes just gone. Her fight with the
orderlies is action packed.
The art is cute. Its somewhat cartoony and its fun. Todd
Demong also created the cover showing a poor Carla drugged and in
a straightjacket in her padded cell. She looks so forlorn and
helpless.
This story continues to reveal a little more of whats going on
each issue. The puzzle of 100 Girls is being peaced together one
part at a time. Good art, good story make for a great comic.

Title: Sitting Bull: The Life Of A Lakota Sioux Chief
Publisher: Rosen Publishing
Writers: Gary Jeffrey & Kate Petty
Artist: Terry Riley
Price: $ 12.95 Can
Rating: 4 stars out of 5 stars
Comments: This is a graphic novel about the real life and
adventures of Sitting Bull. The colors are rich and vibrant. The
art seems tailored to the setting and time period for the story.
It has a rustic and rural feel.
There are some real life pictures and fact pages that are very
interesting to see and read.
His story is about a proud Indian who only wanted the best for
his people. But the encroaching white men destroyed a once proud
race.
This is a true and faithful telling of his story. If your a
history buff or just enjoy a great tale of a people's hardships
you will enjoy this comic.

Comments:  Man, I love this comic book!  The artwork is amazing!
It's done in black and white, but there are plenty of details to
the artwork!  So, there is plenty to see on each panel!  We have
some very, very cool superheroes, not out of New York City, but
out of Birmingham.  Some of the characters are: Tucker Stokes
aka the Solution; Giley Minkov aka N-Ergyzer; Mercutio Bishop
aka Flapjack; Cincinnati F-27 Pulse; Willow aka Photonia and
Aileen aka Roof Girl!   In this story, regular people are
watching these fantastic superheroes on video and believe me they
are impressed watching them.  Especially seeing N-Ergyzer zipping
around in his cool outfit.  The year is 2063 and you'll get the
day in the life of Mercutio Bishop, but you will also get to know
the other superheroes real good too!  Mercutio saved some lives
and in return he gets to have a very cool superhero outfit,
because he deserves the role as a permanent superhero for
Birmingham.  You won't only get to know the superheroes real
good, but you'll get some good action and fighting, expect some
pivot throws!  Roof Girl is one of my favorites, she is
spectacular and looks seductive in her outfit as she goes from
roof-to-roof.  Most of these heroes, work for the city of
Birmingham, they make sure people are safe and that people can
live better lives.  This is not only about chasing the bad guys,
these superheroes put more meaning to what a hero is supposed to
mean and do.   There is an unexpected scene with Flat-Top, as a
hi-bag explodes and the hero is thrown through the glass and unto
the ground.  A shocking scene that will make you want to go back
and find out if the other superheroes will investigate this
matter completely and find out who is responsible!  After reading
Heroes in Birmingham, I was left with a sense of joy and wonder,
these superheroes are top-notch!

MOE Sidenote:  Kendra Larry (aka Kendra the Jungle Girl of the
Jazma League of Justice), my executive assistant bought me a
very cool Captain America plaque displaying Captain America in
all of his glory and has the word "Patriotism" on it and what it
means to all Americans.  I have it displayed proudly in my
computer room.  She also bought me a very cool X-Men "Storm"
action figurine that hangs from my computer room wall.  Storm is
standing on thunder clouds and lightning bolts, this action
figurine also came with The All-New X-Men #96 comic book with
Storm playing card.  If you want some very cool superhero action
figurines, then please check out Tomart's Action Figurine Digest.
There is a whole display of action figurines on their website

Name: Captain America - Out of Time Pt. 3
Publisher: Marvel Comics
Price: $2.99
Contact: MHeroes@marvel.com
Creative Force: Brubaker, Epting, Lark and D'Armata

Comments:  There is a very dramatic moment when Captain America
is talking with SHIELD agent Sharon.  Sharon looks at Cap and
tells him he looks like he is in another time zone, that he
needs to be focused when arriving in Paris.  Cap replies that he
is tired and has a lot on his mind.  What amazes me is that this
young lady named Sharon is talking with a man that is a legend
and is older than dirt.  I was surprised that Captain America
didn't give her back some verbal flak.  Cap does have a lot on
his mind, he thinks of the Zemo incident and how it didn't go
that way, he is confused with these images in his mind.  He is
trying to seek the facts within his own mind and it's becoming
an impossible task.  Things are in dire straights with the
Cosmic Cube and one of Skull's WMDs that may be out and about.
It was great seeing Union Jack in the story and I loved the
aerial maneuvers that the good Captain does from Sharon's skycar
to an aircraft, that's the Cap I know!

Price: $2.99
Script: Ian Boothby
Pencils: John Delaney  Inks: Andrew Pepoy

Comments:  Homer really takes his chances in Simpsons Comics
#102, he actually goes to the South Seas with Mr. Burns.    Mr.
Smithers always gets into some mishaps and this story is no
different, since now he is in a full body cast.  Homer before
going with Mr. Burns to the South Seas, looked extremely
ridiculous in his Navy outfit and not wearing any pants.  Mr.
Burns, even though he is old, is ruthless as he tells the
Simpsons family to swab the poop deck, he loves to bark out
those orders.  Of course, Mr. Burns has a huge ego, larger than
Mussolini's ego, as he has his portrait plastered on the sails
of his boat.  If it wasn't for bad luck, Homer wouldn't have any
luck at all, since they now must deal with a giant squid and
erupting volcano!  This story was not only funny, but it was
adventurous too!

Quick MOE Sidenote:  This is the Multiverse Observer and
Explorer talking to you and I just got done talking with Vlad
Tepes aka Dracula over the phone.  Dracula was talking with me
via his cell phone from some nice digs at some high rise
Manhattan apartment complex.  Here's a transcript of our
conversation:  MOE:  "Yes, may I speak to the Prince of Darkness
known as Dracula." Dracula:  "How did you get my cell number?"
MOE:  "I got it from one of your minions that hangs out here in
Sacramento, that goes by the name of Lucky Lou, he hangs out at
the billiards here in Sac Town."  Dracula:  "I thought I broke his
neck a decade ago, he used to transport my coffins, until one day
he sent my coffins to Sydney, Australia, when they should have
been shipped to Translyvania.  He said Australia and Translyvania
sounded alike. What is it you want?"  MOE:  "Well, I was
wondering if you have been reading any comic books lately?"
Dracula:  "I usually read comic books that have my appearance in
them, of course I enjoy Vampire Miyu and Vampirella, but lately I
have been reading some Anne Rice novels."  MOE: "What Anne Rice
novels have you read?" Dracula:  "Since I once met Lestat in
Paris, I have been interested in this bloodline of vampires, that
supposedly started with the Queen of the Damned.  The novels
that I have read and highly suggest are: The Vampire Chronicles,
The Vampire Lestat, The Witching Hour, Vittorio the Vampire, New
Tales of the Vampires, The Mummy - or Ramses the Damned, Merrick,
Servant of the Bones, The Tale of the Body Thief, The Vampire
Armand, Memnoch the Devil, Exit to Eden, Cry to Heaven, Blood
Canticle and Backwood Farm."  MOE:  "Wow!  You have been doing
some reading!"  Dracula:  "I have even took the time to read an
off- the-wall comic book called 'My Book of Numbers by Alex
Pardee' and 'Rumble Pak by Eigo Manga', so you can see I don't
read everything about vampires.  Of course, I still enjoy the
movie 'Lost Boys', now I must go, please lose my number or you
shall feel my wraith!".   MOE:  "Yes, of course Drac!  Thank you
for this great information and I will pass it onward to the Goths
who hang out at Jazma Online!"  Multiverse Observer and Explorer

Comments:  There is a lot going on in this story.  There is
intrigue right off, a Senator named Alcasan who is a candidate
for presidency was shot and he miraculously survives the attack.
This is all being observed by the Heaven's Militia.  The Senator
preaches that the real terror is right in our own backyard.
Heaven's Militia feels that Bolabogg (a demon) is here on Earth
and the Senator might be the beast mentioned in the bible.  In
scripture it said that the beast would be mortally wounded and
the Senator was fatally wounded, but survives.  The Heaven's
Militia then looks at James Freehorn, advisor to the Senator,
there is something evil about James Freehorn too.  Nara the hero
of this story, sees herself as Joan of Arc, burned at the stake.
She is troubled by what they pursue, but she knows she must
continue her quest.  This story deals with physical v.
spiritual, Earth v. Heaven, weakness v. power.  Heaven's Militia
has a mission, they must fight the evil on Earth.  Nara learns
something valuable, she learns that one's mistakes in life are
just as important as one's successes, without failure, knowledge
is lost.  Excitement ensues, as Heaven's Militia goes over their
attack plan.  There is a lot to know about Nara, that she has
powers, she died and was resurrected and now she can't die at
all.  You want strange, it's all here in Dead @17!  There is an
added bonus story called "Random Encounter", a sneak preview of
an upcoming comic book, if you like video game stories, Random
Encounter will fit the bill.  Dead @17 is a mixture of Buffy the
Vampire Slayer meets The Omen meets John Constantine!   Dead @17
is an incredible story that will make you look at the world in a
different way, the story will give you plenty of goose bumps!

Comments:  Huge book with many stories!  I will brief you on a
few of them!  The Sparrow:  scary singing with words to this
effect.'his eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches
me'.plenty of good v. evil in this short story and watch out for
the demons!  Dear Diary: Nara Kilday is one strange lady, it
appears that if someone does Nara wrong, they die, the diary
that she has is eventually tossed and someone evil finds it in
the trash.  Next Days:  Nara and her girlfriend have some small
girl talk and discuss being accepted into college and when you
think things are going to be normal, Nara takes a hatchet and
starts whacking some dead guys!   Blood, Spit and Gunpowder:
Horrific scene where a guy named James is ready to shoot himself
in the head and decides to kill 2 guys at his door instead.
James Timmons finds himself on the streets as a thief and beggar
and he encounters a holy roller that tries to preach a little
Jesus in his life and the way he handles things is uncanny.  Mr.
Timmons eventually finds himself on death row and some doctors
(psychologists perhaps) offer him freedom by working with a
secret program.  If he divulges information on this secret
program, he could wind up dead.  The Time Between:  Yikes!
Teenage suicide.  The girl's name is Violet Gray, dead at 19. She
is found in the bathtub, wrists sliced and blood is everywhere.
Violet as a ghost meets an old man ghost named Jake.  Jake tries
to school Violet, tries to explain to her about Heaven being at
war with Hell and human souls are the prize.  She also learns
that the demon Bolabogg wants her to have his demon child.  There
are dead souls at her door and Violet allows the dead souls to
take her away, she seeks revenge on anyone that ever hurt her,
including God, she has an evil smile on her face as the dead take
her away.  You want some good evening entertainment that will
make the movie The Grudge seem mild in comparison, then you MUST
read Dead @17 Rough Cut!  A bunch of horrific stories that will
definitely make you cringe!

Name: Kazu Kibuishi's Daisy Kutter - The Last Train
Publisher: Viper Comics
Written and Drawn by: Kazu Kibuishi
Website: www.vipercomics.com
Price: $10.95

Comments: Move aside Belle Starr, move aside Annie Oakley,
there is a new cowgirl in town and her name is Daisy Kutter!
First off, I must say that Kazu Kibuishi is an incredible artist
and his fascinating story of the New West fits well with his
drawings.  I was completely glued with this big graphic comic
book!  The story starts off like a movie when Tom the marshall
confronts Daisy and tells her that there are some men who he has
recognized from some Most Wanted posters in town and they have
mentioned her name at least 3 times.   Tom idolizes Ms. Kutter
and wants her as his co-Marshall.  Daisy is basically a legend
and one of the things that she is legendary of is having single-
handedly shot down 15 supply frigates over the Adriatic Sea, but
actually it was 16 frigates she proclaims.  This is not just a
Western tale, but a sci-fi Western story, you'll meet unusual
characters like Bloom the robot.  The story is Westworld meets
Robocop meets Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.    Daisy
Kutter would make a great Summer blockbuster movie!   She learns
from the outlaws that a J.C. Winters wants her to rob his own
train. She smells something fishy with this offer.  Daisy claims
she has hung up her pistols for good, but she comes out of
retirement real quick.  There is a superb drawing of Poker Night
at Shelly's Tavern and it reminded me of the bar scene in Star
Wars where there were an assortment of strange alien creatures.
They play Texas Hold 'em and even the card game is explained in
detail. There is an intense gambling game that will keep you
right on the edge-of-your-seat, you'll feel like you are right
there playing cards with them!   The New West like the Old West
has its Houses of Ill-Repute and in this story you will be
introduced to the Runyon Cat House.  You'll love Daisy, she knows
how to treat her men, she treats them with assertive toughness!
She knows how to put Tom in his place quickly, even though there
is some chemistry between them, even a kiss!   Daisy is resistant
to her own feelings about Tom and you wonder how it will all play
out in the long run between these two.  There are detailed plans
for the train robbery that will lead you towards high-paced
action, excitement and adventure!  There is a very cool robotic
creature that is a remote controlled heavy artillery mech!  As an
added bonus, Kazu gives us some very cool drawings and sketches
at the back of this comic book digest!  If you love spaghetti
westerns, if you like great sci-fi, if you love adventure, then I
suggest you check out Daisy Kutter - The Last Train because it
has everything you desire and more!  Daisy is all that and a bag
of chips!

This is the story of a girl transported to another world where
there are fantasy and magical elements. At this part of the story
she has been traveling with a barbarian named Sanamar and a
birdman named Don. She awakens from a nightmare to find herself
in a cabin of a sailing ship. Slowly, the memories of the recent
past return to her.  It is a strange land and she and her
companions have somehow survived being submerged in the river
haunted by ghosts. But these are not any ghosts; they are ghosts
of each person's past and the images only serve to make the
person feel hopeless as they drown. Luckily they are plucked from
death by a good captain and his crew that have a ship protected
by a spell against these ghosts.

However, this is not the end of Phoebe's problem. Her nightmares
are a symptom of a deeper ill and though the others have
recovered and are helping the crew she stays below, wandering the
ship at night. Her will is weak and her past injuries, physical
and emotional weigh heavy on her.  She learns of a special room
where children play but amazingly they disappear suddenly. New
ones appear as well. They are connected from other worlds and the
ship is a haven of sorts outside of the real danger they face in
their own world. Is the ship a haven for Phoebe as well?

This is a deep book that deals with issues of abuse and healing.
In the midst of her loneliness, Sanamar imparts a parable of his
tribe that helps point Phoebe in the right direction. I think the
bigger picture of the series is that there is always a way, hope
and help if you look for it. The way Pete gets to these
revelations is methodical and detailed. And, indeed the plot has
a larger story that passes from chapter to chapter. The style is
a mixture of images that Pete handles well - from the dreamy
images of the river and the nightmares, to the real world above
and below decks. It all fits so nicely and often the narrative is
much text, which can be a little difficult for those who prefer
more pictures. The introduction of the vanishing children is
integral to Phoebe's own situation. Not seeing this from issue #1
did not detract from understanding all of this issue. More will
no doubt be revealed in future issues. It is worthy of your time.

JONAS: TALES OF AN IRONSTAR#3
24 pages, color, $3.95
by Brian Colin
mail@ironstarcomics.com
www.ironstarcomics.com
Published by Code Deco

This is a tale of a post-apocalyptic west where things have gone
back to Wild West style living, for the most part. A group of
Ironstars (Marshals of their time) roams the land protecting the
people from monsters that abound. Jonas Eightstar is one of those
men. Right now he is stuck in a giant web (holy Shelob!). In a
venom-induced state he fades in and out and sees the monsters are
planting seeds in dead humans. He also flashes back to another
time when he worked with his mentor as they boarded a train and
confronted a man who hopes to take over the world. Shades of the
Wild, Wild West, Aliens, and a dozen old Sci-Fi movies. The
flashbacks help fill in the blanks about the history of Jonas
and the Ironstars he is involved with. They also give clues about
some of the creatures that inhabit this world. Humans control
some; some are used to try to find ways to enhance men as super
soldiers. There are also some mutated men, a result of the "Great
War". Only the Ironstars stand to sort this mess out. In the past
Jonas and his mentor are in a big mess, about to be fed to a
captive Drakor after they are caught on the train. In the
present, after Jonas has been prepared to be implanted his
partner, Mary, rescues him. Now they face a forest full of
monsters - not much more hopeful than the flashback!

Of the chapters until now, this one smoother flowing. We see some
of the things that have been set in motion starting to be
explained and the back story gives a lot more detail we need to
understand this strange new world. The painted art is comfortable
with the greens and blood reds of the wounded monsters a sharp
contrast to the plain yellows and browns of the main art. The
story has action and the plot of the old Ironstar who would be
king is an interesting development. Alone it is an enjoyable
issue that makes you long for the next chapter. With the others
it fits the big picture nicely. It is a welcome change of pace to
other books on the market in story and the unique art. Try this
chapter as an introduction to a fabulous series.

MUSICOMICS #25 - February '05
"Thank You For My Sweetie"
12 pages, black on colored paper, minicomic,  $1 or 4 for $3

Musicomics are songs interpreted with a group of mostly rubber-
stamped images. In this case, for Valentines, it is a love song.
And, I must say it is a delightful one. Matt wrote is long ago
for his honey and it is something I would proudly give my wife to
express how I feel. The images, as always, play off the lyrics.
It is interesting to see each issue and the images Matt will
select and how he will place them to tell a story with the song.
This is the classic marriage of words and pictures. Send Matt a
37-cent stamp for a free sampler.
